Pity Party for One: AKA I want to cry

I saw the surgeon this morning. He agrees there is something wrong. I have an MRI tomorrow. My follow up appointment isn't until late September.

I want to cry. I'm barely holding it together at work. I'm in PAIN. Not some discomfort, PAIN! It hurts to move. It hurts to breathe. I just want to go home lay on an ice pack and passout. All of which makes it impossible to focus on anything else.

I'll leave work.soon. It's horrible timing. I've got a ton to get done before a big deadline and I keep getting pulled in on special projects (which feels great career and accomplishment wise, but is a time suck).
