1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #2 since August, cycle #1 post m/c, CD 15.
2. Testing this week? Nope.
3. Any AW's, hair pats, randoms? We had awesome timing this month due to our vacation falling during ovulation, so I'm cautiously optimistic this month.
4. What is your favorite season? Are you day dreaming about spring and summer yet? I love summer and fall. Can't wait for warmer weather and no snow!
Adora Belle Dearheart I have short LP as well at 10-11days pretty consistently. It has not hampered my ability to get pregnant at all so I wouldn't worry too much. I haven't taken B6 to lengthen it. i thought about it but got pregnant before I had a chance to try (with my first)
Your Drs comments on charting concern me. Without charting I would have no idea that I ovulate late (cd17-19) and probably would never get pregnant if I relied on the general cd10-14 window. I really wonder their reasoning for saying this. I've gotten pregnant 3 times relatively quickly while charting. Staying pregnant is my problem!
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #2 2 losses waiting for my period...
2. Testing this week? Still waiting...
3. Any AW's, hair pats, randoms? I think I've decided to chart to make sure I'm Oing and try this month. If it doesn't happen I'll take a couple months off. I feel like the last 6 mo this I've been either pregnant or waiting post miscarriage and I need a little time to just be me.
4. What is your favorite season? Are you day dreaming about spring and summer yet? I love each season, but this winter kind sucks so far. So I'm looking forward to spring. It really is my favorite!
She recommended EOD and taking a PNV. I generally like her, so am just brushing it off for now.
Yeah EOD is for rabbits in my head! I have a hard enough time doing EOD during the window never the less the whole month! And I can see about the stress effecting some women, but I feel that it empowers women to make their body less of a guessing game! And I'm a data junkie as well! I love comparing all my cycles to what was the same or different.
Adora Belle Dearheart I actually purchased The Infertility Cure a while ago and it pretty much goes right along with what my acupuncturist said. It's pretty much everything I already knew from going to acupuncture, but if you haven't been, its helpful. I followed the TCM diet when I got my BFP, and I plan on doing it again when I gear up for my next embryo transfer.
1. TTC #1 since December 2013, one loss in October 2015 2. Nope 3. Post-op appointment Friday, so we'll find out what the next step will be. 4. Well, it was like 90 here yesterday, and I hate it. I can't stand super hot weather. I do like spring when everything is blooming and the weather is still cool. Fall is my favorite season, though.
Thanks, kellikans ! I'm going to pick up Making Babies from the library this week (because free). A few Amazon reviews said they were similar books. I may buy the The Infertility Cure. Did you feel like the TCM diet etc. made a difference for you (mental/physical health etc.)?
We're only a few cycles in, but I'd like to make any changes I can to help things along.
It's basically cutting out all sugar and processed foods and eating certain things depending on what your body needs. The book is helpful because it has a quiz to go through that helps you figure out what you should and shouldn't eat. I think I did feel better overall after I got into it.
But then I also think that there are so many unhealthy people out there that get pregnant, so does it really help? I don't know. After almost 2 years of trying for a baby, I figured it couldn't hurt.
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC#1 since last April, CD 46.
2. Testing this week? No, pretty sure I am anovulatory right now
3. Any AW's, hair pats, randoms? I made my first appointment with an RE, earliest available was March 15. Waiting over a month is going to suck.
I have a question hopefully some of you can answer. I know they will probably want my H to do a SA once we start with the RE. We just switched him off my insurance to his own through work, I don't think his covers fertility stuff, and he has a high deductible anyways (like 3K or something close). How much can we expect the SA to be out of pocket?
4. What is your favorite season? Are you day dreaming about spring and summer yet? I think spring. I love the blooming flowers and trees and the warm but not hot days. I like summer too but it's so long down here. I would probably like fall if we had it, but we don't really (Houston).
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC#1 since July; Cycle 4; CD 64
2. Testing this week? clearly a problem cycle at this point. Going in for bloodwork I guess to show that I didn't ovulate.
3. Any AW's, hair pats, randoms? I'm bummed. Dr. is shunting off to an RE now but I'm not sure what goes into that process but I'm a little shocked that after 6 months of TTC I'm already heading off to an RE - doesn't bode well for our journey.
4. What is your favorite season? Are you day dreaming about spring and summer yet? Fall is my favorite! Crisp temps, beautiful leaves, apples.
1. Where are you in your journey? TTC #2 since June 2015, CD 21.
2. Testing this week? OPKs
3. Any AW's, hair pats, randoms? I've been trying to eat healthier (besides the cookies last night ) and exercising 3 times a week.
4. What is your favorite season? Are you day dreaming about spring and summer yet? Fall! Definitely not. It didn't really get below freezing around here which means the Mosquitos are going to be awful this year. Also not looking forward to triple digit weather.
That's so weird that some docs recommend against charting and OPKs. Even after you get pregnant, they usually set your due date from your last menstrual period. If you O late, then your dates are off. My due date was set from my positive OPK instead of my LMP because I O late. Plus, we tried for 6 months with no pressure or charting and it didn't work.
