I worked up until I delivered, but if I had known I was going to come back to work after 12 weeks of ML with an extra couple weeks in my PTO bank and my water would break at 39w5d I would have stopped at 39 weeks exactly since that fell on a Friday. The couple extra days to veg at home would have been nice.

I delivered on a Monday and worked the Friday before. I think I would have liked a day or two off, but I'm glad I didn't draw a line in the sand since I delivered at 42 weeks.

I worked until Friday 6/28, delivered (planned induction due to cholestasis) on Monday 7/1. I didn't take any time off before on purpose, I work for a state agency, we do not fall under state disability and as management I have not optional plan to pay into. I get 6 weeks paid family leave, then I must exhaust my sick time (which I didn't have much off since I had barely been with the agency 11.5 months when I delivered). You can use your vacation time, but if you use one day, you must use all Once that time is exhausted you can opt into Non-industrial disability pay which maxes out at $35.71 per day (I make more than that per hour)... I was gone 9 weeks and wanted to use all of that time with my new baby.
This time around I will schedule my repeat C-section and probably take off a couple of days prior since I have much more time accumulated.
I worked until I went into labor. I actually worked from home the day labor started. I wanted to end a week early but didn't want to use any of my leave so I worked from home the last two weeks instead.
I started leave at 39 weeks. I work retail, and even though I had a relatively easy pregnancy, I was DONE by then. I didn't actually deliver until 41 weeks when I was induced, but it was nice to veg out and get the house ready for two weeks. I also have the luxury of 14 weeks for ML, so being off those two weeks didn't bother me.
I worked through 41 weeks. The next day was Friday and I had an NST, I just took that whole day. I was scheduled to be induced Monday and ended up going into labor that day, anyway (after a last ditch acupuncture effort).
Last time, I worked through the Thursday of my 39th week (I had the Friday off as a holiday for some reason). I went straight to the doctor for a check up after my last day of work that Thursday and basically never came home until after DD was born (my blood pressure had gone up and I had to go to the hospital for monitoring/tests and eventually to be induced.
To add to mine...I'm glad I didn't set a last date. I would have been pretty annoyed to lose two full weeks of ML if I'd left a bit early. If I knew I had some flexibility and they would still let me do 12 weeks after the birth? Sure. By like 38 weeks, I was done with all the, "Haven't you had that baby yet??!!" and, "Wow, you're getting huge!" and, "You look tired - you should sleep now while you can, har har har!" STFU, all of you. STFU.
I worked until the end. I was able to WFH the last two weeks. I started with contractions on Saturday night and S was born Monday morning, a day after her due date.
Both times I said I would take it day by day once I hit my due date. My boss is very flexible and my on was iffy about me working at full term due to my commute and non desk job. Didn't have to worry either time, both times worked a full day went home and got admitted

I worked until I had A. I was 40.1 on my last day of work, it was a holiday weekend and my water broke on Monday. I worked at an ortho office at that time. A lot more desk work. I did have to quit scrubbing in for surgeries before that.
I intended to work to delivery with C, but I only made it to 38 weeks. My BP was borderline and the OB said "if I could" I should take it easy and stop working. Work was really understanding about it, so I did. I was induced at 39.1.

I stopped at 32 weeks. I almost asked my OB to let me work longer, but at 33 weeks I started to feel so tired I could hardly make it through the morning without a nap and was having contractions on and off. I delivered at 35 weeks, so it was a good call for me.
If I'd had a singleton, my scheduled stop would've been 36 weeks.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
I worked until the day i was induced (i actually signed on after they placed the cytotec from the hospital bed to set my out of office bc the induction was supposed to be the next day).
This time I'm open to going out early, but it would have to be with a dr note. I have up to 9 weeks of std and 4 weeks of sick/vac saved.
Really early...like 36 weeks last time. I was really a swollen mess and obviously heading towards pre-e. And subways. Ugh. I was only out 2 weeks before having to have a c section, though, cause of the pre-e.
DS1: I worked until I was put on bedrest about a week before I went into labor.
DS2: I worked a half day the day before I had a scheduled c-section. They had to push my date so I had already put in leave so I was just a going to take the day off, then a meeting was scheduled.
I worked until the Friday before my due date, which was like 39+3. Then DD was 4 days late. The week at home before she was born was nice, but in hindsight, I would have preferred an extra week with DD after she was born.
