I cannot get on track this week. I was doing pretty well overall. I had some set backs when we went camping and to Disneyland and to my parents house and stuff, but this week I have zero motivation to eat right. I feel so hungry today and all I want is peanut butter and chocolate and chips and bread - lots of bread. PMS is here, yes, but really it's just my will power, and the fair on Monday. So many treats and although I didn't get a lot of them, it really made me crave them.
I wanted to make a good last week push, but I-just-can't!
Glad I did the healthy challenge and I did win $5 back from one weekly weigh-in.
I hope the other challengers are doing good for themselves this week.
P.S. The abundance of fruit flies is making me so close to just tossing all our fresh fruits. They are a pain and suck and are kinda gross.

At lunch I had a tiny little square of brownie that was left in the break room. I knew I would have horrible cravings that would distract me for the rest of the week, so I caved and had one tiny piece today. And I'm going to watch what I eat/drink at a wedding on Saturday, which also happens to be the same day as the first Husky game. I'm hoping to celebrate the victory the next day after the weigh-in
you can do it!! remember, the healthy challenge is all for fun, but it's really the long term that matters. you've done an incredible job. and I don't know about anyone else, but I'll definitely want to be checking in with you girls post healthy challenge. I had a really "bad" week last week. but, it was my birthday, and a birthday camping trip. and now I'm back on track. so you can do it too!
oh, and I forgot where I read it, but they suggested having "healthy" foods to be your "cheat" foods. things like avocado with salt, almonds, raspberries, dark chocolate, etc. that might be a good thing to try, so you still feel like you're splurging. also, maybe don't worry about calories for a few days, and instead, just eat all that you want of healthy foods.
Ditto what eip said! I love chocolate, and actually prefer dark chocolate. If you get the super dark (like 70%) chocolate, it's actually calorically not as bad as you'd think. Can you sustain your will power to have just one scoop of pb on a spoon?
I know what you mean, TOM last weekend totally screwed me big time, and I'm REALLY hungry today!
