I ate a crappy breakfast (like a pop-tart or something) before the one-hour and "just" failed.
Then I ate a good breakfast (like eggs and toast or something) before the three-hour and passed.
One note: if you have to stay there for the full three hours, make sure you bring good reading material/something to do. I decided to bring a book, but mistakenly selected Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul and I started bawling in the waiting room five minutes into my three-hour wait. Don't do that.

Ok so the odds are in my favor then. I drank 3 cups of decaf with extra creamer and ate a roll of ritz crackers before the test lol.
I barely failed the one hour but I blame it on the bag of French onion sun chips I binged on the night before.
I ate a more balanced dinner (lol) the night before the 3 hour and passed! I brought magazines and a baby book to work on since it was long and boring!

The first time around I failed the one hour and passed the three hour. I've never had a glucose test that wasn't fasting, though, and I never understand how I'm the only unlucky bastard that never got to eat breakfast before one.

Mine were fasting tests as well. I failed the 1 hr by TWO points and was pissed I had to do the long test. Then I failed the 3 hour too. Ugh. I had GD. I hope you don't but if you do, you'll really want to know and treat it. It will be ok either way.
I failed the 1 hour with both pregnancies!!! The first time I did 3 hr and passed (barely) the second pregnancy inhaled by so much they didn't even have me do the 3 hr. They just diagnosed me and sent me to endocrinologisthe. Hopefully you pass.

I failed the 1 hour by 2 or 3 points. My midwife said with me "failing" the 1 hour by such few points that the 3 hour shouldn't be a problem. She was right. She said to bring books to keep me occupied but they actually had a room with this super comfy reclining chair that I slept in. Then when she came in every hour to draw blood, she would bring in a fresh warm blanket. It was heaven lol

I failed them all, both pregnancies. With DS, my number was right on the cutoff. The lab considered it passing, my doctor's office considered it failing. Jerks. I then failed the three hour. Ask for a room to lie down in and bring your tablet or something to watch shows on. That helped me get through it after a horrific first go with the three hour.
