It's 9am. 1. Dd2 was up screaming since 2am. I have no idea why, but she took a fist full of my hair as ransom that I wouldn't leave her bed. I left. She screamed. 2. Eating breakfast a coffee mug of hot chocolate made its way to the floor and the dog walked through it. While I wiped that up, dd2 ate all of her hot cereal and then Mine too. 3. I made more cereal and then Reheated my cold coffee. Cue dd1 coming to the kitchen with her hair soaked with water because it was "snarly". She went to school with wet hair because dd3 blew out a diaper BAD and the bus was coming in ten minutes. 4. I switched a load of laundry and dd2 climbs a bookshelf and gets my Willow figures down. Then she dropped them on the bathroom floor. Daddy doesn't have a head anymore. 5. Then she sits down with a stack of books (good right??) nope, she started ripping pages out while I changed dd3s blown out diaper again. GUISE, it's only 9AM! I'm laughing about it, but seriously. This child will be the death of me.

If you start drinking now, no one will judge you. Seriously, that sounds amazingly awful. I hope thrcdaybturhscaroubd, or at least evens out a little.
- DD went back to school yesterday after making sure her breakfast was settling okay, and she seemed great. No poops, no pain, full of energy when I picked her up. We're through it, right? Nope. She was up half the night pooping and complaining that her tummy hurt. I guess I keep her home again?
- DH and I went to a dinner thing at this amazing Lebanese restaurant, and it was really fun. But I don't think my tummy was ready for regular food. I didn't eat much, but I just felt queasy and off all night.
- Our sitter (our niece) was also getting over being sick, but she said she felt fine when I checked in with her last night. By the time I got home, the poor girl was curled up on our couch and looked miserable. She said she was pretty sure she was running a fever. So, we have that to look forward to.
That is some impressive coordination among the kids dizzycooks! What a start!
--I decided to work remotely today because we have our tax appointment later and figured cool, I can sleep an extra half hour. Nope, ds woke up a half hour early! Lovely
--we have our tax appointment today, those are always fun. Have all my docs together but need to sort them out.
--work had been busy and stressful, so need the weekend to regroup!

Dang, dizzycooks, you sound like you're having an even rougher time than me lately. Big hugs!
I feel like all I ever do is vent anymore, but now I have three kids with ear infections and I'm well on my way to having a sinus infection of my own. Having to give three kids antibiotics twice a day for ten days is a real treat. Plus they all need those horrible antibiotic eye drops because all of them have astonishing amounts of green crud coming out of the corners of their eyes. At least I finally didn't wake up with a fever today? That's progress.
Also, our house is totally gross right now, and I have had zero energy to clean it and DH has not so much as lifted a finger to help and instead seems somehow annoyed at me for being sick. Dude, sorry, I barely kept the kids alive all day, there's no way I'm going to stand there and do dishes.
Wow. That's a lot, all of you! dizzycooks, I really hope it gets better. .tHat's more than a day's worth of issues before 9 am!
@mamalysson, I really hope you don't get what the sitter has, now. Maybe she has what you all already had. @everyone, I send healthy vibes!!
My only thing so far is that my 3 year old has started staying up super late and not wanting to nap. She has spent good chunks of today having meltdowns and needing everything just her way. Has to hold my hand like everywhere. Has to wear a certain jacket even though it's too cold for it. Has to get out a certain car door. etc etc. She'd better nap today or we are all in trouble!
The pharmacist forgot to mix ds2's antibiotic (they just sent home the dry powder - a huge wtf to CVS pharmacist who doesn't check that?, first and last time I will use CVS) so yesterday I had to go back to pharmacy after my mom picked up prescriptions for me.
I had groceries delivered from the city today and have specialty everything waiting for me at home. I only need to feed DS1 since DH has a work dinner and once I get my kids to bed its me and the couch and a yummy dinner with Humphry Slocombe malted milk ice cream.

Dude, what is up with the CVS pharmacists? Mine screwed up and gave me amoxicillin instead of augmentin yesterday and I only noticed it after I'd already given the first dose. I know they're very similar and it didn't hurt my kids to have one dose of the less powerful stuff, but they REALLY shouldn't be making that kind of mistake!

I know. And they were so it's not a big deal. Any mistake is a big deal when dealing with prescription meds.

Agreed! Not cool! How fortunate you noticed. I rarely read the rx before leaving the counter, may need to change that habit.

This was my biggest problem! She didn't even seem sorry about it, she was like "oh, that was a typo, come back and we'll refund you." Like, thanks for the 77 cent refund, but that's kind of not the point.

Definitely not the point! She was lucky there weren't medication allergies to consider! My dd is allergic to amoxicillin.
My biggest vent lately is DD2. I am at a loss of how to handle her anymore. She has been screaming, kicking and throwing things. No amount of redirection, talking to her firmly, or timeouts seem to work. I dread coming in from being outside or really doing anything that she won't want to do because I know she will throw the biggest tantrum. I have tried setting boundaries and expectations around circumstances I know will upset her (ie tell her we are playing outside for 20 minutes. When mommy says it is time to go inside, we need to do that quietly and not argue). I am sure my neighbors think she is crazy and out of control (not that I disagree with them). My sanity is dwindling lately and I am at a loss. She has her 3 year well check in a couple of weeks, so maybe her pedi has some suggestions. Otherwise I am going to lose my damn mind.
