So about this show...M loves it but I am not a fan. I like the PJ masks just fine but "villians" are all a bunch of name calling brats. Nothing like teaching preschoolers how to trash talk.
Yeah I can't find anything. DS apparently loves this show (watches at daycare). We don't have cable so I've never seen it. He likes a character named Catboy so I thought I could get him a little Catboy something for Easter, but nope, not happening.

I totally agree. This show grates me...but M LOVES it. Today at school I had to say "Greg becomes" as he jumped out of the car to go to school and shouted "GEKKO!"
The same issue happened when Blaze and the Monster Machines came out. Zero merchandise to be found and DS was obsessed for a short time! Now they have a ton of stuff and he could care less.
He liked PJ Masks for a hot minute. He's loyal to his beloved Paw Patrol ;-)
DD loves this show and Goldie and Bear. There is nothing out there for either show. September from what I have read.
Lots of our friends have banned PJ Masks due to negative behavior after watching it. I honestly have never payed attention but am a fan for the peace and quiet it provides.

I can see why. In every episode there's tons of bullying, cheating & name calling from the villians. In this morning's episode Night Ninja called them "birthday bozo, bird brain, PJ pinheads".
So far we haven't had any negative behavior but I've been watching for it & try to encourage him to watch other shows instead.

Yuck. Why is that necessary? You can have a show about superheroes without mean words.

DD1 called her friend a "Pussycat" yesterday because the villian on PJ Masks called Catboy that.
That is what every kid talks about at school though and they act it out during free time.
I was surprised they didn't have any merch yet, but it seems like Sofia and Lion Guard were the only 2 that they really had merchandise ahead of time for.

On the other hand, I've seen a ton of zootopia clothes at target and I'm like "who are these animals?!"
