I've had what I thought to be a very painful corn on the inside of one of my toes. I've been dealing with it forever. I've used corn remover and then it comes right back. Sometimes it just downright throbs after running or after work.
I finally went to the doctor and it's not a corn it's a wart! EWWW! No wonder it hurts so bad and keeps coming back.
The doctor offered to do removal today but I would be out of commission for a few days and I have some big workouts planned, so in the meantime I will use corn remover to at least take some of the skin away so it doesn't hurt so bad and then go in and get it taken care of!
Now you know all about my nasty wart infested toe!!
Just a suggestion. I used Apple Cider Vinegar on my warts on my foot (I had 18 of them). You just soak a small piece of cotton ball in Apple Cider Vinegar and then place it on the wart. Put a chunk of duct tape over it and continue to repeat. Eventually it will turn black and then just fall off completely. I now have a foot free of warts.
They also make over the counter Plantar's wart medicine. It looks just like the corn med, but it's for warts. It works well, just make sure you use all of it as directed or it won't get down to the root...I know ewwww

Plantar warts are the WORST! I had one frozen off as a teen and haven't had one since, but it will definitely be sore for a few days, so wait until you're in the off-season or have a break in training.
