Spending "freeze" went well again. I feel like om really getting a good idea on what the rock bottom prices are for grocery staples and personal care items. Also really tracking clearance prices on clothes for the kids has helped.
Otherwise, baby books and photos haven't been touched so that's on the goals list again
My main was goal to get back to healthier eating. I did mostly okay with that. Helps when you get a stomach bug and can't eat much for days. It was awful but it did reset my taste buds.
This months goals: 1. Continue eating better. 2. Continue running and sign up for our neighborhood 5k so I have a goal to reach. 3. Spend less. I bought all the things in February. I need to reign that in. 4. Map out our summer. DH will be gone for a lot of it so I need to figure out what camps we are going to do and what gym I want to join. In the past this has gone horribly as DD hates the childcare but she's old enough now to have a say. 5. Start working on photobooks. 6. Refinance our house, do something different with my old pension.

1. Do better job meal planning and eating at home. Make a grocery list before shopping. 2. Use my paper planner more consistently. 3. A spending freeze sounds like a really good idea vettymama. I would love to get more control of the day to day things that I usually do out of convenience and not necessity. 4. Come up with a game plan with organizing important paperwork/ clean out the file cabinet and toss things according to guidelines etc...
My planner has a mission board for each month. This is March's.
I love that! May I ask what kind of planner you have? Mi e is Erin Condren... I also had Erin Condren two years ago, tried a plumb paper planner last year, and switched back.
I actually met all of last month's goals except planning my summer trip due to a possible career shift for H
This month I would like to:
1. Further purge our master closet 2. Help H get his work wardrobe together 3. Donate more clothes and household items to Salvation Army 4. Find a less expensive pool guy 5. Fund our trust (need to call the bank) 6. Update toddler book before DS' 3rd bday 7. Organize and back up photos and order prints
I've been really working on my grocery shopping. I feel like I spend all week shopping because we like X from this store and Y from that store and Z from this store over there.
So I'm trying new brands and streamlining my shopping. Also figuring out what I can buy large quantities of and freeze. I'm working towards a weekly sprouts for produce, monthly target for pantry items/personal care/household and Bi weekly Costco.

It's an Inkwell Press. I absolutely loathed my Erin Condren, had Plum Paper for 4 years, and this is my first year in Inkwell. I really like it.

I've been a die hard Plum Paper for many years now but might try Inkwell next year!

I'm torn. I like PPP paper better. The inkwell is heavy but grittier. I like the hard cover better than PPP too. I may actually make my own planner next year. I have a wire-binder machine so I may take everything I love about PPP and Inkwell and combine them. I LOVE PPPs paper and colors and customizeable sections. I love Inkwell's horizontal layout SO MUCH MORE than PPPs.
Well, we have been trying to get DS1 new glasses for a while. After waiting for months on a waiting list I gave up and convinced his previous optometrist to send his prescription so we didn't have to wait months or drive 2 hours to get new ones. It is insane what you have to go through to see a fucking eye doctor around here.
