Hi. Thanks for asking. I took the job with the new company I interviewed with a few weeks ago. I actually started Monday this week. Hard to say if i like it!! Lol
But everyone is super nice and company itself seems great. In fact I asked a woman how long she worked there and she said she was the baby of her group at 18 years!!!! Ha. Apparently turnover is very low. In fact most new people are from growth of the company.
They also all seems to be very helpful. Checking in on me a lot and super flexible. They don't watch the clock or anything, which is nice. They even have a person who specializes in ergonomics and people have their desks all set up to their liking. Some have adjustable computers so they can sit or stand, others have special chairs. They are even setting me up with a laptop to work from home if I have a sick kid or snow etc. I do feel positive about the role but first weeks at a new job are always hard.
gastro, how is it going with you? Wasn't your husband traveling a bunch this last month? Did you and your boys survive unscathed?
Thanks for checking up on me! Kids are finally healthy which helps so much. Dh's travel is not letting up anytime soon so we've decided to hire a mothers helper for 8 hours a week. She works for a neighbor so I'm sure it's a go, but interview her next Monday. I got your snack bags and I love them! Will write a review on Etsy when I get a chance.
Thanks for checking on me. I'm having a tough time, but its ok. Almost spring break!!
14 school days for us! Being a teacher-mom is hard, I felt like I was always slacking in one area or the other. It got easier, though. Does your dh sah? How's he adjusting?
