I have a conference today and tomorrow, so H is taking today off the be with the kids. When we told DS1 yesterday he said, "WAIT. The one who feeds the baby is going to work?! And Daddy is staying here?! But how will we feed him?! We don't even make any BREASTMILK!"

I have been in such a slump with the gym. I just don't feel like sweating or working hard. This cough I've got isn't helping things. Ugh. I will probably go today and at least walk on the treadmill so we can get out of the house and Lane can play.
I have been super crampy for a week. Its annoying. Last night it got worse and I thought - OHH!!! Maybe tonight something will happen. Nope. I had a great nights sleep. I cant complain too much but its really just annoying to be uncomfortable. I want my body back to normal.
I hit a low point in the MOTN last night. DS is sick (just a cold), and he was up all night for the second night in a row. I was losing my mind, so I put in ear plugs and slept while DH tried to sleep on the floor of DS's room while DS screamed because nothing DH tried would get DS to stop crying. I feel awful about it. On the bright side, I feel reasonably well-rested.
Leaving after preschool for vacation! We aren't flying out until tomorrow but are flying out of a different airport so driving and staying in a hotel tonight. Ds1 is so excited.

Looking forward to a huge consignment sale tonight. I'm a cosigner and a volunteer, so I got pass to go to the pre sale 1hr before it opens. I need lots of summer stuff for DS.
I might get to vacation in Ireland this year! I am definitely going to Dublin for work, but it looks like my mom might join me for a few days after to see more of the country. Yay!
I just need reassurance that I am not a bad mom. I'm feeling guilty because I will be away from J five times this year (four work trips and one fun) for a total of 24 nights. H will be with him for all but one of those trips, when my mom will watch him. Is that too much time away? He will be fine, right?
This is my last Friday working in the office. Next friday I am off for moving then I am a remote employee. Very weird. I hope I like being remote, TBD!

He will be fine and you will have a great time in Dublin.
It's my birthday today! I took the day off and now I'm taking DD to her 6 month checkup, then I'll drop her off at daycare for a few hours to get a mani pedi. We'll go to her daycare Carnival this afternoon, and then we're off to the hotel to spend the weekend! I'm excited.
M had a fever and was home two days this week. We sent him to school yesterday, and they called me at 4 because he had hives. Not sure if he is going to school today or not, my husband is going to make a game time decision.
When I think we are finally in a groove, I realize that we are really struggling with the transition from me sah to working. Thank goodness my husband's job is flexible.
We're visiting my new nephew later today, so I plan to spend the day cooking for them...homemade pizzas for their freezer, muffins, brownie pudding and something for dinner for tonight. I'm trying to rack my brain to think of what else I would want as a mom of a 1 week old, other than food and booze!

DH works 24s and is not home about 100 days out of the year (spread out) and nobody thinks he's a bad dad or that he spends too much time away. Your son will be fine!
Enjoy Ireland! I went in high school and can't wait to go back someday!
Out at 1, then I'm getting my make up done at Sephora, probably doing some shoe shopping, and then getting the kiddos early from daycare. Tonight, my Aunt and Uncle are watching the kids. Date night with DH, the first since DD was born. We have a gift certificate to a nicer than usual restaurant, so the first $100 is on somebody else. Woot!
(Though I'm a little nervous, I'm the only one who has ever put DD to bed because she usually nurses to sleep. Keeping fingers crossed!)

I bought myself a new diaper bag last night. Yes my kid is 2, but I still carry one around...i am a habitual "over packer" I have been carrying the same large ones since I had DS. I wanted something smaller. So I was at TJMaxx and they had this Skip Hop for only $25

My boobs are out of control. I'm wearing a full coverage bra and still have cleavage 24/7. On the one hand it's awesome but on the other it's really awkward to be washing your hands and have cleavage up to my neck.

This is so nice if you. I would do snacks food. Granola, cookies, taquitos, banana or zuchinni bread, smoothie packs...
Today I have to finish cleaning and decluttering the entire house because we have someone coming to take the pictures for our house listing this afternoon. The list of things I need to do is long, very long, yet here I sit GBCNing. And we haven't even't had breakfast yet. I predict a lot of cramming things into drawers and cupboards in my future.
I have a contractor coming today to look at the boys closets and give me a quote on knocking out the shelves and repairing the dry wall. FX it's under $200 (3hrs of his time)!
I'm excited/nervous to go to IKEA with the kids. Our master bedroom is pathetic and really needs decorating. Bedroom: curtains and hopefully art or a mirror. Dining room: 2 lack shelves & white planters to copy my inspiration pic
Today is my last day at home with DD since I go back to work Monday. I am having a sitter come over around noon and I am going to go clothes shopping by myself! I was originally suppose to have lunch with my recruiter, but she hasn't responded. So I am going to use that time to shop for myself. I am in desperate need of work clothes as I haven't worked in 5 years and all the clothes I did have I left in Spain because it was going to cost too much to ship them.
Then tonight we are going out to dinner for Italian...yum!
@sessalee and others who said they went to Sephora to get make up done
So do I tip her after doing my make up? I assume they are paid commission based upon what I buy. I'm planning on dropping $100-$150 depending on what I like, so is that fine?
There is apparently a wasps nest in our attic. Now that we've had a couple of days in the 70s, a couple have found their way into the house. Ugh. Bright side, it's been in the 70s?
