I have a contractor coming today to look at the boys closets and give me a quote on knocking out the shelves and repairing the dry wall. FX it's under $200 (3hrs of his time)!
I'm excited/nervous to go to IKEA with the kids. Our master bedroom is pathetic and really needs decorating. Bedroom: curtains and hopefully art or a mirror. Dining room: 2 lack shelves & white planters to copy my inspiration pic
What are your inspo pics? Fun!
Current closet Inspo
We have this buffet so I bought the 2 lack shelves and 3 planters. Inspo

namasteak - love the closet inspiration pic. Be sure to PIP when you are done and let me know how it goes/how you did it.
I think next summer we are going to move the boys into the bigger bedroom (currently our office) and I'd love to something like that for their shared closet.
At the outlet mall and I found coordinating Easter outfits for DD and DS. They're so cute. COORDINATING OUTFITS YOU GUYS! I feel like my life is complete.
Now I'm eating AuntieAnne's pretzels, I'll nurse DS, and then we'll head home.
This also makes my life. I've ordered 4 different shirts to perfectly coordinate with DDs dress, but they're all just slightly off.
Please share what you found!
All from Gymboree Outlet. I just need to figure out if DD will wear tights or frilly socks, and what shoes.
I don't think I'm going to buy the church. DH estimated the construction costs and the reno would double the price of the church to well over $1M. Don't think I can make enough money on it to be worth it. Maybe they'll lower the price on it so I'll watch. They bought it foreclosure last year for less than half the price they are asking. If I bought it for that price, I could make it work...lol.
Speaking of old houses...this is how shit goes in my house. I finally get new floor (tile) in my kitchen & mudroom. Tile installers tore off baseboards, who knows when that'll get fixed. Then the back door doesn't seal right & my floors aren't level so there is a gap. DH tries a bunch of thresholds and none work. So I get the brilliant idea to buy & have a storm door installed to at least seal it. Storm door is installed yesterday, fine--looks good. But the damn handle on the storm door now conflicts with the dead bolt on the door. And when trying to open the door all the way I broke the door handle...So now I have a nice new storm door (& it does seal the gap) but my regular door no longer has a deadbolt nor handle! Fuck...one thing just leads to another. So far the new tile floors have cost me well over $2K and I still need to buy a new doorhandle and figure what to do about the deadbolt hole.
@sessalee and others who said they went to Sephora to get make up done
So do I tip her after doing my make up? I assume they are paid commission based upon what I buy. I'm planning on dropping $100-$150 depending on what I like, so is that fine?
I purchased about $150 worth of product and I didn't tip.

My YMCA has a cool new text system if they need you to come get your kid from childcare. Except today I got texts from both the baby room and the kid room at the same time for both kids to be immediately retrieved.
I picked DS2, which was good because he'd done his awesome trick of passing out after a hard fall (he's fine), and DS1 had "just" peed all over the front of his shirt. At least I only had two minutes left on my workout?
I'm about to get a fucking migraine (the halo is here) and but I'm too lazy to jump up and run get the kids from school. Argn. Happy Friday.
My mom swears by 4 Advil and a Diet Coke when she gets the pre-migraine auras.
I can't take advil but I staggered through CVS and found some tylenol and some kind of shitty starbucks energy drink. I made it home before my right side went numb. It's coming back now, so it must be time for more drugs.
It is gorgeous outside today! One of the spring days that reminds me why I still live here
Took the baby for a (slow) 30 min walk. My stitches were starting to bother me so we came home but it was nice to feel like I was doing something active!
Does anyone know if a tailor will hem curtains for me?
I would look for a seamstress or sewing work room on google or whatever local search you are doing. IME a tailor is just clothes but seamstress is broader.

Thanks! I bought several sets of curtains at IKEA but they are a bit too long and I don't feel like using iron on hem tape on all of them.
