I've never been on BCP. My obgyn recently prescribed them due to some issues I'm having.
They cost $32.99 a month. What?! I've never paid anywhere near that for an Rx. That is crazy

Is there a generic? When I was on BC, it's been awhile, it was cheaper if I had a 3 month supply mailed to me. Also the manufacturer sometimes has coupons/voucher things.

DH is checking with his pharmacy at work. He thinks it might be cheaper there.
One of the meds I take for an autoimmune disorder is a chemo drug and it only costs me $9!

I just looked at the Rx and it doesn't have the "generic substitute okay" box checked so I'll have to call my OB and see if I can do generic.

The most I've ever paid is $12/3 months. But I've always been a government worker or a teacher so typically great insurance.

Generic should be free. Brand name is not. Seems reasonable to me though.
However, I just paid $92 for an antibiotic yesterday and have paid close to $200 for inhalers so there is that.

Mine are free. You should ask for the free option. I find it grating that not ALL birth control is free under the ACA. Ugh.

My asthma meds are quite expensive IMO each month (about $80 for 3), but when I was on BC it was rather inexpensive...i'd def check into generics. GL.

I pay $0. I went off them several years ago because they were costing over $100/month.

Our plan is grandfathered and covers no birth control.
