DH is out of town a few days this week and MIL is going to cook a few things, so I shouldn't have to make much. I am going to make two quiches, definitely a ham and swiss, not sure about the other.
noodle - I made that Italian chicken soup last week. It was tasty, but was lacking... depth, I guess. I think cooking up a few slices of bacon and softening the vegetables in bacon fat, plus adding the chopped cooked bacon to the finished soup would make it perfect. It just needed that smokiness, I think. Definitely worth trying. Here's the recipe again: www.carlsbadcravings.com/creamy-basil-parmesan-italian-soup-recipe/
eta: I also made these last week. If anyone is looking for a super easy chicken recipe, I highly recommend it. So good!
I'll only be in town a few days, but I just got my !!!!SPIRALIZER!!!! so I'll be doing zucchini, squash, and maybe a roasted potato thing. I love my new curly veg. So fun.
It's going to get cold again next week, so I'm making 21DF turkey chili (2 dinners' worth) Some kind of chicken coconut curry (2 dinners' worth) Mahi Mahi fish tacos with mango salsa and slaw Beer braised chicken thighs, green beans with almonds, couscous, and homemade challah (Shabbat dinner)
I don't have much planned so far Sweet potato, black bean and chorizo skillet Sun dried tomato, kale, quinoa Mac and cheese Pork chops, broccoli, rosemary cauliflower mash
Tonight: Cassoulet Tomorrow: cider braised chicken and cabbage Tuesday: sausage and potatoes roasted in the oven. And probably Brussels sprouts Wednesday: grilled chicken salads Thursday: pasta with chicken, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, etc.

I am trying a new meal delivery service. It is local and everything is paleo and/or gluten free. I hope it is delicious. I will fill in the rest of the week with dinners out/leftovers. My friend who uses it said that she and her husband get at least two meals out if each delivery so hopefully some lunches, too. This is what we are getting this week-
Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs with Brown Rice and Bacon-Broccoli Salad
Paleo Cashew Chicken, Stir-Fry Zucchini Noodles, and Steamed Fresh Broccoli
Honey Mustard Salmon or Chicken with Ratatouille and Brown or Cauliflower Rice
Bourbon Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin (with Homemade Bourbon Sauce on the side), Sautéed Yellow Squash, and Steamed Fresh Green Beans
Yesterday we had Thai basil chicken and veggies over basmati rice. Rest of the week:
S: spinach ravioli with mushroom sauce, salads M: Thai chicken meatballs (except I'm making turkey) with rice noodles and spicy broccoli and snow peas T: Spicy red pepper noodles with tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms, and broccoli W: homemade veggie burgers and baked sweet potatoes Th: leftovers F: Shrimp and asparagus stir-fry over brown rice
Tonight is homemade pizza (sort of). Tomorrow will probably be spaghetti. Not sure about Tuesday. Wednesday will be chicken noddle soup. And I'm not sure about the rest of the week...probably leftovers.
Monday: grilled chicken breast and the asparagus salad balletofangels posted
I made it one other time and it was delicious and easy. I have no idea why I haven't made it again. I came across it when I was going through old meal plans. I hope you like it!
Here's our week. I just need to rave about the recipe we made tonight. It was amazing! It all works together so well, and every just came out so amazingly.
