I'm reading Wicked, but am not making much progress. I also can't renew it at the library because of someone else's hold, so improbably going to take it back and try again another time.
Our whole family did a bracket, including the 3 and 6 year olds. We'll go out for ice cream with the "winner".
I'm reading Rock with Wings by Anne Hillerman (taking over the mysteries from her father, Tony Hillerman). I'm enjoying it quite a bit - I've loved the Hillerman books for years and I like how Anne has brought a slightly different voice to the books.
QOTW - Not a basketball fan, so I just spend the next few weeks complaining about how MM impacts my tv watching. On the other hand, it means I'll get more reading done!
I am reading The Martian and loving it. I just hope I can finish before my library ebook expires. It's on a Nook and from what I can tell, as long as I don't connect to the Wifi and don't close the book I should be ok- we shall see. It's on a huge waitlist at library, both ebook and hard copy so I'll be bummed if this doesn't work.
I'm listening to Sous Chef by Michael Gibney. It's very interesting so far.
I didn't fill out a MM bracket this year, but I do enjoy following the games- especially the big upsets. I love the Final Four, and usually watch at least a few games.
Re-reading The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan and listening to The Hobbit while waiting...waiting...waiting for my holds to come up at the library. I've been the first person on hold for one of them for 3 weeks and the longest loan period is 2 weeks so I don't understand! Of course Tolkien is my favorite so I'm not complaining about the Hobbit, just confused.
The Grace of Kings by Ken Liu. I'm about 60% done and like it so far. He is a skilled writer and makes the story work even though it has a somewhat complex character list.

I'm reading Murder on the Caronia. It's good, but I'm only one chapter in.
QOTW: Yes. I filled out one for my family's bracket challenge -- the winner picks the charity the pot goes to and I did a charity one at 501(c)ares for Heifer International. The Heifer one is busted already; I have the best chance as of right now with my family one.
Physically reading Cider House Rules, but once again it's Friday and I'm barely into it. I did really like Orphan #8 from the last couple of weeks though.
I've also got 2 audio books going. One is about escaping North Korea, and it's sad but fascinating. The other is The Forgotten Garden, and I'm finding it a tad hard to follow because it jumps around in the timeline so much and I can't flip back to see when it is. There is also some family tree type stuff that I wish I could reread. It's kind of reminding me of The Light Between Oceans, but longer and with more fairies.
I am reading American Girls: social media and the secret lives of teenagers. I am high school teacher and it was so eye opening and scary. I am also reading Into the Darkest Corner.
I absolutely made a bracket but it was ruined right away. Being in NC it is basically mandatory
