What's your favorite condiment?

For me it's ketchup. I think it makes almost anything taste better. I put it on chicken, dip potato chips in it, eat it with plain bread... Yum.

amaranth - Oh, yum! There's a local restaurant here that makes their own honey mustard, and it's unlike any other honey mustard I've ever tasted. It's soooooo good.

Ranch is a close second.....especially since I Was raise in Alabama and they put it on errthing down there!

Mayonnaise. As a kid I used to put mayo on bread instead of butter. Now I use mayo as the base of things, egg salad, fry dip, etc.

MrsMB - I've never had ranch! My mom and I are both allergic to one of the common ingredients so we never had it in the house or used it in recipes when I was growing up, so I've never even had a taste.

I admit I'm grossed out by ketchup on bread. I only put condiments on meat. Do you do that at least?

Once in a while I use ketchup for certain fries. That's it. I'm kinda anti-sauce in general. I don't use any salad dressing, won't eat things with weird sauces that I don't know, etc. I've been like this since I was a kid.

This horrifies me more than ketchup on bread. No salad dressing? I'd never eat a salad again.

bk1- DH doesn't use salad dressing either.

I can't think of what it's called but we by this spicy mayo like sauce at Costco and it's my favorite!

I don't know why it's delicious, but it is! Pretty much any starch is better with ketchup, in my opinion. Haha.

It's easier to say which ones I don't like. Not a fan of ranch, picky about my bbq sauce and salad dressing, not into Dijon mustard...plain mustard is a favourite because it has no calories and adds flavour, ketchup is a must for fries, eggs and hamburgers, mayo is a must for potato salad, salmon, tuna and in mashed potatoes. Buffalo sauce for wings. I love condiments and sauces.

bk1 I have a coworker that doesn't use salad dressing either (or any condiments). She NEEDS croutons on her salad though. Haha. She's also suuuuper picky about her food though!

For me it depends what I'm eating. I don't like mustard at all. I'm a weirdo that not only eats chicken nuggets/strips with sweet and sour, but also fries! Yum! I love BBQ, ketchup, mayo, etc. Ranch if it's something spicy. Or sour cream, depending on what it is. I can't imagine eating a lot of things without some sort of sauce!

I at least branched out from ranch and started liking other dressings though. I now LOVE French dressing but I still don't like Caesar!
