My H seriously has been so awesome this week. I usually harp on him for not taking initiative but he has been on fire. Basically anything that needs done he starts doing before I would have time to ask. Dirty diapers, vacuuming, carrying laundry, you name it. I have never seen him this helpful in five years of marriage. Last night I was literally sitting on the couch eating a twix bar and he says "once I am done putting M to bed I'll clean everything up. I know it's pretty messy right now."
Oh, and last night I got out of the shower to discover he had fixed a broken chair I've been nagging about for months. Hadn't said anything recently though. He just did it.

H is making dinner tonight. Like an actual dinner. He saw a recipe on FB and decided he was going to make it tonight. So far he's taken apart a rotisserie chicken and cut up onions and soon he will be making the rest! He is making enchilada stuffed shells. I'm excited, they sound delicious and I don't have to cook! Haha.
I wanted to clean G's room and he got up and helped without me asking. Then he vacuumed the house while I moved furniture. After all that he went outside and cleaned up the yard hauling off two trailer loads of branches that he cut up. The yard is 1000% times better!
I've said this before, but my H has just been so great lately, being supportive about IF and upcoming IVF, and also really encouraging as I've been losing weight.
estrellita I'm jealous of your dinner, that sounds delicious!

He has been amazing at helping around the house, taking on diaper duty, and cooking. I was afraid that after the baby came I would be left to do everything around the house and take care of the baby. I feel terrible for not giving him enough credit. He is a wonderful husband and father.

He is working so much during the week and doing a lot of housework on the weekends. Our house always looks great and he's always going the extra mile, especially when we have to prep for showings. He is always trying to make it less stressful and work for me.
Mine has been amazing at home renovations. He completely redid all three bathrooms and they look awesome. He also painted several rooms, and he a ton of "handyman" type jobs as we prepare our house to be listed. He is very talented.
Bumping this post to brag: I got my period yesterday... while at my FIL's. I wasn't expecting it until Thursday so I had no supplies (and surprise! FIL doesn't have that stuff lying around lol). I told DH I really wanted to shower and he said he'd find an open store and buy pads for me while I did so. I finished showering and he had got pads and a dark chocolate Aero bar! I can't believe he found a mainstream chocolate bar with no dairy! He said it took longer to find than the pads.
