I am making a salad as one of the sides for pulled pork sandwiches on Sat. I want to make a "fun" salad (the leafy, green kind, not like macaroni salad or something) but I'm feeling very uninspired. What are some of your faves?
My mom makes one that is romaine, crispy rice noodles, cranberries, some candied almonds of sorts that she makes, and a vinaigrette. It's delicious, but I don't have the recipe

Well what good are you?
I know! Everyone always asks her for the recipe and she responds with, "I have it on a piece of paper somewhere." Infuriating! Give me a copy already!

I had a neighbor bring Crunchy Romaine Toss allrecipes.com/recipe/228117/crunchy-romaine-toss/ to a gtg a couple weeks ago, & it went over really well! I've definitely added toward the top of my list for salad varieties.

ISO made a wonderful veggie salad for Easter dinner. We ate the leftovers today and it was even better. He cut up cauliflower, broccoli, re, yellow and orange peppers, cucumber and green onion and used a garden salad dressing from a local market. I want to have it in the fridge all the time now!!!
