HOWEVER
My friend is on HRC's staff in AZ. Since last night he has been getting 200+ harassing phone calls from Sanders supporters cussing him out and saying that she rigged the election. Not cool Sanders fans not cool. I am furious for him.

So, they are calling her headquarters to yell at her staff claiming she rigged the election. And what do they think this will accomplish? Even assuming arguendo, that she did, why would HER staff give a fuck?

They are calling his personal cell phone. They are basically calling him and saying "congrats for stealing an Fing election" and then blaming him for being unable to vote.

TBH, the Berners have been claiming election fraud in every primary so far so often that now that there may be actual shenanigans that went on in AZ, I am just not listening anymore.
This is beyond ridiculous. I'm about to say something to my cousin who's a BernieBro who shared a petition to redo the vote (right).
Yeah, there were issues yesterday, mostly exacerbated by the greatly reduced number of polling stations.
This impacted EVERYONE. I would love to hear some specifics on how this only negatively effected Bernie voters. Not like poll volunteers were going through the line asking how people were voting then saying "Oh, Bernie? Well sorry, XYZ problem means you can't vote!"
FWIW, I switched registration last month from Ind to Dem and had no issues.
One guy they interviewed pointed out not everyone had a job that allows them to take that much time off to vote (which turned out to be several hours in lots of cases, but in best case scenarios was between 30-60 mins), and that it seemed to hurt people with certain life circumstances the most.
Which, *maybe* he has a point, but everyone has the right to sign up for early/mail-in ballots. I think my experience yesterday has finally convinced me that I don't love voting in person that much.
But still, this is an issue with the Maricopa county recorder's office and staff. I hope they get raked over the coals. Even our stupid R governor is bitching about it today.
Not something that was controlled by candidates' campaign offices.

I experienced these shenanigans in St Louis in 2002. Making it difficult to vote in person has been a disenfranchisement standard for a long time, and of course it impacts the working class more. It's appalling.
I'm sorry for OP's friend, as this isn't an hrc problem. But it's quite unfair to say someone should have known to vote early.

I wonder how they're going to feel on Saturday, when Bernie takes the WA caucus.
We're being told to be there at 9, for a 10 o'clock caucus, and not to plan to leave before 2. So, yeah, there's a system that's worker friendly.
... My guess is it'll be all about the triumph of Bernie here, without much introspection about Why he does so well in caucus states.

Ugh. This is why caucusing is such bullshit. If you don't have hours to spare (5 hours apparently) from your day, then your vote doesn't get counted.
No. I want to be able to cast my ballot and then leave.
