What's up today?
It's our anniversary! We're going out to Texas Roadhouse tonight. Mostly because I have a coupon, lol.
It's snowing like crazy at my parents but we have exactly zero snow here (they live about an hour and a half south of us). My mom sent me this pic and I told them to keep it all down there!
The plumber that worked on our house last week needed to come back to do a little more work. (He wanted to finish it Monday morning but I was busy working.) anyways he was an hour later today and there was no explanation. When I called the company after 45 mins all they said was he was on his way and the appointment time was an estimate not an exact time. When the plumber was a little late the other day and I asked about t it seemed like a one time thing. But nope, why didn't anyone tell me that the appointment was an estimate like all the other companies do. The plumber has been great but I'm exhausted and I have only slept 3 hrs since I got home as I woke up to wait for him. :/
Work called me to cover my coworker's sick day. I'm disappointed because I had plans to organize the guest room & Skype a friend. I am also, apparently, super cranky so I'm not making the most amazing employee.
Went to the park this morning (walked) and then came home to get ready for a house showing 4-4:30 (any minute now). I also feel like I won the lottery because C took a 2.5 hrs nap which was much needed on my end! Going for a walk when they get here.

I'm so pissed. Realtor decided to no show. So I spent most of my day getting the hiuse perfect and waited around for 45 min for him to show up. Called my realtor when he wasn't here at 4:30 (4-4:30 appointment). She heard back from him at 4:45 saying he will have to reschedule. It's been 6 months now and I seriously have zero patience for this anymore.

That is crazy rude. I can't understand how they think that is okay. They know it's an occupied residence.

My thoughts exactly. They also know there is a baby in the house and planning around his schedule. I had to change my dinner plans to accommodate them and now have to cook tonight. My biggest issue is all the prep and then not letting me know til well after the scheduled time.
luv2rn4fun - is the housing market where you are really slow right now?
Everything you have gone through with this house sale sucks! I hope you get an offer you can accept soon.
Thank you! No, it seems like it has really been picking up and has been consistent traffic. I think it's a combo of our neighbors and some buyers say our backyard is too small (it has a pool and built in bbq area so somewhat good for kids but not ideal for families with big dogs). Our neighbors house has 7 cars so is definitely suspicious to a buyer...

Aww. Do you have to disclose the problems you have had with your neighbour and the police? I know here if you have any police reports between you and a neighbour it has to be disclosed to prospective buyers.

We will discuss with our realtor when the time comes. Thankfully we have no police reports and code enforcements words were "it's personal/civil". If they are unwilling to hold him to city code (can't run a mechanic business in residential) then I don't see how it's on us to disclose he's doing something illegally. Thankfully he has gotten better but it's starting to ramp up again he's also only a small reason why we are leaving (we don't like the city due to lack of convenience and we need to bed closer to family for help).
