I've been to get my nails done and 5 different stores to get the shit I needed for baking for tomorrow and for Monday's dinner. I have to prep everything, make the desserts, and write a speech that I gave to give on Tuesday night (it's a tribute speech and I think I'm doing mine on RBG, who no one in my class knows, I'm sure. Maybe even the instructor....who BTW is a holy Catholic roller. RBG should go over well with her either way.)

my mom was just admitted to the hospital. Dad took her to urgent care this morning because she'd been sick for a few days and was having trouble breathing. Her O2 level was 34!! That's not good, guys.

Hugs bimbi and MrsAxilla!
I went to Target with my parents today. My dad has taught poli sci at the university for 45 years, so he's taught a lot of people in town. Some dude in a Trump shirt yells at us, "Dr. Last name! Hillary's going to jail soon, right?!" Wouldn't stop yelling until my dad acknowledged him. Meanwhile, my mom and I kept a safe distance just to make sure no punches were thrown. Apparently, after 20 years, my dad still remembered his name because he was such a fucking moron in college. Ya don't say, huh?

My parents are here. I really needed to do a target run and asked my mom if I could just take her car since it was blocking mine in. She was like "sure, I'll come with you, I've got some stuff to pick up, too. So I grabbed my phone, put on my coat, and got in the car. Got to Target and realized I forgot to bring my purse.
I'm brewing my first ever batch of beer. It feels like DH is going to come down to the basement any second & yell at me for touching his brewing stuff.

Hugs / T&P to everyone having a rough time this weekend
I mentioned this in another thread, but a FB friend posted urging Bernie supporters to email 2 of Utah's superdelegates who are already committed to Hillary (because it's soooo undemocratic that they aren't going with Bernie since he won Utah). I did the opposite and emailed both of them thanking them for supporting Hillary. One wrote back saying she really appreciated hearing my support because she's getting "a lot of pressure to change my support to Senator Sanders". So not only is Bernie going after Hillary's superdelegates himself, his supporters are also after them. I can only imagine how much email she's getting from them. I think it's a safe bet this is happening in other states, so if anyone is bored it might be nice to email your superdelegates with support for Hillary
I'm passing through NYC on my way to MIL's apartment and I want to hop out of the cab and grab a drink at all the cool looking places.
Spent my free morning cleaning my mom's house. She was injured a couple weeks ago and there have been complications that landed her in the hospital briefly this week. She's the type who would get all high on Percocet, get annoyed by the mess and the. Clean the house further aggravating the injury. So now I have a little peace of mind that she will rest and relax.
We don't really celebrate Easter and dh has to work tomorrow. I had told him the other day that I was dreading having my mom invite me over for lunch because I can't eat a lot of what she makes (she "forgets" about my lactose intolerance) and won't eat a lot of it (they use a lot of expired, dented, salvage store items) and I really didn't want to but wasn't sure how to get out of it. Well, it was a moot point. She hasn't even so much as texted to see what our plans are for tomorrow. So looks like I get my day home alone but it stings a bit to not even be asked what I'm doing.
