I'll one up you- my dd said "caillou" last week before I could quickly change the channel. The only way she could know it is daycare. I know they sometimes watch an episode of The Cat in The Hat at 12.45 before I pick up her at 1pm and I checked and caillou is on before it. Ugh.
AJ yelled what sounded like "Up dog!" for probably almost a month until we figured out what it was...and that was only because he was pointing at a display at Target while he yelled it. I was like "wait AJ, Paw Patrol?" and he's all "yeah, mommy! Up dog!" like he was saying "finally, woman...took you long enough!"
DD somehow knows what Paw Patrol is when she sees a picture. I too pin that one on Daycare. But she still doesn't realize it's a tv show so let's leave it at that.
My DD doesn't go to daycare, she has a sitter. I knew the sitter was letting her watch tv when she started recognizing "Mickey" and "Minnie." And I was hoping to avoid a Disney obsession for as long as possible!!

I knew my dad was sneaking my DD Mickey when she started randomly saying, "oh tooooodles!"

Of all places, the anaesthesiologist during A's last surgery showed her Peppa Pig on her phone and now A is obsessed. Thankfully there are lots of episodes free on YouTube!
I hated Paw Patrol until DS made us watch Blaze and the Monster Machines. Now, I'd kill for a little Chickaletta screen time.
I felt the same way and really dislike Blaze, but now my 4 year old explains physics terms like acceleration and adhesion to me, so I guess it's probably a little more educational than Paw Patrol.
