We usually text several times throughout the day. Sometimes we have actual conversations back and forth, but more often one of us will send a text and the other will reply an hour later. He has lots of meetings and I set my phone down and forget about it a lot.

We generally email back and forth a few times about updates/stuff going on during the day or links to articles or whatever. When I am at my other job and bored I'll text him sometimes. We don't usually talk on the phone unless it's something urgent (which doesn't come up too often)

We talk online a good amount because we work for the same company so we can talk on IM. Sometimes it'll be a "check your phone" when we need to complain about something. Haha!
It depends on the day. Sometimes a text, but more likely an email. If it's the last day before vacation or something, we do a meme thread, which is really fun. And then we normally check in when we are each on our way home to figure out afternoon/evening plans.
I tend to get annoyed with him on the phone for some reason. He likes to call me when he gets off at 4pm. I get off at 5, I really don't want to hear about his gripes from the day. He then wants to know what we're doing for dinner and I usually get cut-off by him honking at someone. He gets annoyed when I don't know what to put on the table. I just don't have the energy at that time to want to small talk.
We text back and forth when he's at work. Sometimes we talk on his way to and from and sometimes he will take a break outside midday to talk, not lately though since work is crazy busy.
We used to talk SO much when I worked and his work was much less stressful. And when we were dating it was insane how much we talked. Now there are days we hardly talk at all and that's ok too.
We text throughout the day. Not usually just chit chat, but alerting each other of a change in plans, verifying something on the schedule, or now a million and one house-related things. We're both home from work around 4:15 so we have plenty of time to talk then as well.
We FB Message as things come up. Generally he's able to message any time, unless a random meeting pops up. It's harder for me to message him because I don't like having my phone out while teaching.
Depends on the day. If one or both of us are super busy, we don't talk at all. If it's the weekend and I'm working while DH is home with E, we text back and forth all day.
And we typically text/google hangout/email. Sometimes we'll have simultaneous conversations going on all three.
