At my old place, I had to give them a heads up for dropoff in the first half hour of opening, or they'd get frustrated. Usually at that hour it was only the assistant director and maybe one other person.
We arent allowed to alter our hours without notice (center). our options are to pay for a 9 hr, 10 hr, or 11 hr day. From there we pick the times between 7am and 6pm that we will pick up and drop off. So we do 9 hrs 8 - 5pm. if we drop off early we pay the per minute price and if we pick up after 5pm we pay as well as its outside of our contract and they arent necessarily fully staffed.
Only if it means that I will be getting there right as they open. Early morning are staffed for the number of kids that are usually there, so I want to make sure he is not going to push them over ratio.

Nope. I do call and let them know if he won't be in that day though, or if we will be significantly late so they know he will still be around for lunch.
