Saturday morning we went over to my grandparent's place and helped my grandma set up her new computer. While D did that I showed them a lot of pictures and ideas about what we have planned for building our house. They had a lot of great feedback and were super supportive.
Sunday I went to the dog park with a friend and just hung out at home.
Not much on my calendar this week. There is an open house at my pole studio in Everett Friday night at 8. If any of you ladies have ever even thought about it I would encourage you to come, drop in and just check it out. PM me for details - ps I will also be dancing/demoing!
Back at work today, albeit a little late. My alarm didn't go off like it was supposed to, but I was awake, just completely unmotivated to get up. H has today off after working Thursday and Friday to get through quarter end.
This weekend was a whirlwind, and went by much too fast. I'm bummed about the UW Women's team losing, but still impressed that they made it to the Final Four. And I'm not happy about the super cliffhanger of a TWD season finale.
I think I have a busy week ahead, but I get to leave work early on Friday for Opening Day at Safeco. I bet fiddles and toratoratori are excited for MLB Season officially starting this week

Hi guys! Happy Monday!
We had a great weekend. Hosted a baby shower and had some friendsf or dinner Saturday. Sunday I ran 7 miles and took bkb to a new park. I am exhausted! It was so hard to get through my work out this morning. I need to schedule a massage for next weekend.

Anyone running the seahawks 12k in two weeks?
I don't think I could walk a 12k right now much less run one
Nothing too exciting. Some guys at work made meatball subs for everyone (here comes the heartburn) which is nice to have a free lunch.
Friday we found out we are going to have a little BOY! H won our bet... but we are excited. I just have to convince him that Eugene is off the table.

Congrats! Eugene should be nixed from the name list for two reasons: 1. That is the name of the mullet/ponytail character from The Walking Dead, no one wants to be him. 2. The evil empire of Phil Knight, aka the University of Oregon, resides in Eugene, OR. I'm sure I can come up with some more reasons if you need them
I'm home from the swap meet. What a bust. We barely broke even after lodging and booth costs. Plus eating out the whole time. *sad panda* Oh well - now the "stuff" is slightly more organized and I've got a new fire to sell this crap!! It was a good weekend otherwise - I love spending so much one on one time with DH and DS. It certainly wasn't a vacation but it was fun not being in our own house (Airbnb place was awesome!) and the drive down and drive home was blissful - DH and I got to talk grownup stuff the whole time without distraction. Pure Gold. Today I need to repackage my Zaycon delivery (40 pounds of hamburger!! And it's so so so yummy, better than grocery store by far! zayconfresh.com/refer/zf138381 <--- referral link) And I told DS I would take him to the children's museum. And we're going to look at a new-to-me car - we need a bigger car!! Hope everyone got a chance to enjoy this weekend's weather - I heard it was nice...I was indoors at a swap meet the whole time! Grr...
We need to do a Children's Museum play date. I've been wanting to take the kids but never find the time or motivation.
Yeah this week probably won't work, since I'm working and stuff.
Sigh.
I thought you were...how about a weekend day (I need to see if I'm working this weekend or not - I may have my first doula client!). otherwise Saturday is wide open and sunday after church is good too (I don't know the hours of the children's museum)
I'll have to see. I've got a bunch on my plate. I'm taking my mom for a Bridal Brunch on Saturday, dinner with my birth mom that evening, and we'll probably need to chill at home on Sunday. Then next weekend is my mom's wedding.
I will be planning a play date soon at the Snohomish Aquatic Center with another girl from Maya's preschool, so maybe the third or fourth weekend in April?
I am ready to be done with this week already. All the kids are still sick (broken record here it seems) and they are all hacking like they are dying. The two little ones can't blow their noses so everything either runs out the nose or drains down the throat causing them to hack. I was hoping Aj had his next well child apt this week so he could maybe get checked out for piece of mind but the apt isn't until next week. I'm ok with him during the day but at night its hard to listen to him all stuffed up. Then M isn't sick per say any longer she just has the cough that won't go away. Be gone sickness!
I should be working out but I'm baking and doing laundry. Mini banana & coconut banana loafs and cookies.
Also does anyone still wear real overalls anymore? like not skinny jean type ones? I'm thinking I need to shell out the money for some carhartt ones since those are all I can find. I had a pair that I always wear while doing yard work but between my washer (or dryer we don't know which one it is yet) I had a tear put in the leg of them and then I have noticed my weight lifting is paying off a bit as my "leg gains" helped make that small tear into a whole leg tear the other day. H said I was the garden hulk. As for the overalls I got them from old navy YEARs ago when they were cool, I really liked them.

I know I was like his namesake is a weak hick from TWD... really? I am trying to convince him of Henry Hunter [Last Name]
I'm dragging today! My OB must have been running really far behind because my normally fast 15 minutes appointment with him took over an hour due to all the waiting. BY the time I got back in the office I felt the day was gone and I haven't quite mentally re-focused.
We had a really productive weekend. Got all the car seats sorted out and installed, met with the doula and agreed to a "plan" such as it is. After 3 weeks without a dining room table we found a gorgeous solid mahogany table circa 1890 from a wonderful antique store in Port Ludlow that carries furniture from an era that I just really happen to appreciate. It has a super cool hand crank to open and close it and it's all weathered and beautiful. It's neat to think about how many other families have sat around that table to share meals together. And now it's ours! I love (functional) antiques.
Since I'm now full term, these next few weeks are slow on my calendar since I'm leaving time open just to wrap stuff up before the baby comes.
My OB checked me today and I'm starting to ripen but by no means am I having a baby this week anyway.

It's Monday! Bah! Today was better than yesterday, so that's good. So glad to be home and I don't work until 1 tomorrow. So I'm just hanging out with the cat and watching Bob's Burgers. TWO new episodes, woo-hoo!
ilovebed, that sounds awesome! do you have any pics to share of it?
Oh H did take a picture! This is fully extended with the two leaves. We will probably use it with one leaf which will be big enough for 6-8 chairs. Fully extended it fits 10.
