Date/Special Occasion Outfits: No Clue....I always ask Stitch Fix to send me date options. I LOVE the stuff they send me....but it's more casual. I think the trend in style right now is more casual in general....which is not me. I'm looking for new places to get sexier/sharper stuff. I look at all these boutiques around town for the college youngins (we have a university nearby) and it's all very floooooooowy.....which I hate.
Personal: I honestly haven't bought any clothing in 2-3 years, mostly because of my weight. (I have received many hand me downs from relatives though that I wear.)
Date/special occasion outfits: same as personal. I do buy a dress or so now and again for weddings etc.
I don't shop for specific things at specific places since I can wear jeans to work. But my main stores are American Eagle and Old Navy. Sometimes Target but their quality isn't the best (I hate 2/3 pairs of jeans I've gotten there.. the only pair I liked was a pair of skinny maternity pants..). I used to shop at Express a lot but I don't fit into a lot of their clothes anymore (at least the pants in store, I'd have to get them online or find an online return in the store). Half my wardrobe used to be Express, partially because I worked there for a while and partially because I used to have to wear dress pants more often. Also used to shop at Kohl's more but the one here is terrible!

Work: Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Loft
Personal: Banana Republic, Macy's, Tjmaxx/Marshalls, Target, Nordstrom rack, Old Navy, wherever something strikes me really
Date/special occasion outfits: all over the place. I keep wanting to try rent the runway but I am so incredibly picky about how dresses fit me because I carry my weight in my stomach that I worry I'll regret it. Plus I'm a major bargain shopper and I feel like for the same price I could find a dress I could (theoretically, because I never actually do) wear again for the same price. Side note - I actually have a shower coming up this summer for my BFF and she is very traditional Florida sorority Lily prep type. I'm toying with the idea of trying on a Lily dress at the mall to determine my size and making my first RTR attempt in her honor for the shower!
I haven't bought a ton of clothes the last few years thanks to WFH - for casual stuff I do pretty well at the Gap outlet.
I like outlets in general - there are some good ones by my mom including WHBM (got my last fancy dress there and love it), Loft, and Banana. I like all the "regular" versions of those stores too but can't generally afford to shop there.
