In my immediate neighborhood and a couple of nearby neighborhoods we are looking at:

Under $100K -- Here is the cheapest house, at $120. 2 BR, 1 BA on a main street.


$250K -- This house is pretty cute, but only 2 BR, 1.5 BA


$500K -- There seem to be a lot right at $499. This one is 4BR, 3BA.



Also, I am totally in love with this house, which is $459K. The downside is that it is right on the edge of the neighborhood, so instead of being on a nice homey street it looks across at a strip mall and funeral home (which seems to be abandoned, I've never seen any cars there or lights on or anything).

You can get this small 1bd condo for $100K about a mile away



Around $250K...Hard to find too...THere are a few condos in the $100Ks...virtually nothing in the $200-250K range. This is a carriage house about 1mile away



For around $500K--Still over 1 mile away...neighborhood is a little rougher


OR in a better area also 1 mile away (further away from riff raff)
