I do agree that the ending was abrupt. I just LOVED that it was Iain though. I loved his character so much. And I loved it even more that I never saw it coming. I read it about once a year and the foreshadowing in it is pretty awesome.
Richard was nice, but that's just it. Nice. I love rugged Iain.
I would have loved a book about the brother though. He was thoroughly entertaining.
Speaking of underdogs milliep, I still want the underdog in Chicagoland to win, but I know that shit ain't happening. I partly want to give up on that one.
I loved that it was Iain, but I wish he had interacted more with Julia previously or had been more competitive with Geoffrey. I feel like he should have tried to be a closer friend if nothing else. But I did like his little speech - very romantic and explained why he held back. I never was invested in the relationship with Geoffrey, so it made perfect sense.
