H's work shift starts at 4:00am. We were able to get up and get him out the door without waking up Gus this morning, which is always a good start to a day because it means I can fall back asleep for a few more hours.
Now I'm watching Top Gear and getting ready to work on homework. No plans for the weekend beyond that.
Well I just took a blissful two hour nap. My H took M downtown for an adventure so I got to clean and sleep! Next I'm going to the garden center to buy flowers that I'm sure I'll kill before month end.
After working nights last night I helped dh set up the garage sale and between 8-11am we sold approx $150 in stuff. There is still lots of stuff out there though. Whatever doesn't sell today will go tomorrow for cheap, or we will donate it. It feels great to be getting rid of stuff and paying off some more debt.
DH went into work for 10am & I work this evening so once again we're ships crossing in the night. At least work gave him Chinese for lunch and my co-workers and I are planning to get take out. Apparently, we can be distracted easily with food.
As I took our laundry off the drying rack because I needed to hang the wet stuff I realized that it's finally sunny and warm and I can dry my clothes OUTSIDE! Overall I'm just excited it's warm, but the deck and clothesline make it all the more enjoyable.
awick14, I've decided to join in the neighborhood garage sale in June. H thinks it will be pointless, but I'm hoping to sell a few things. If nothing else, it'll help declutter and I'll just donate what doesn't sell.
We finally have gorgeous weather right now! Window are open, laundry is going, and I'm alternating watching Once Upon a Time with reading a book. H is helping his parents pack up their house- they are buying a bed and breafast a few hours north of us.

We just got back from visiting ILs (FIL just had his hip replaced so he's a bit slow moving around) and looking at some plants. I'm excited to have a yard and plant some things! I just don't know what and where yet..
When we got home, we heard an ice cream truck going around. I don't want to jinx anything because I do live in MN but I think winter is over!! Love it!!
DH is talking about sending a "downsizing your home" book to my ILs. I'm like, okay, let's make it clear that it was your idea and your idea only to give them this book. I still want them to like me.
Gorgeous weather here, windows open. Having ribs for dinner!
awick14, Sorry you didn't get as much sleep as you wanted! My ILs have a TON of stuff in their house. Their entire basement is full of boxes that they never unpacked from when they moved 15+ years ago. It will be a massive job to tackle when they eventually move out of their current house.

Ya that will be hard. After GMIL passed away the ILs cleaned out their basement and got rid of a lot of stuff. (They did it because it was so hard to clean out GMILs house, it drove MIL nuts.)
We just got home. It's been a long emotional day. Today was the viewing and services for our friend who died. We were there most of the day. I'm ready to go to bed and sleep for 12 hours. I'm exhausted physically and mentally.
