So, I know we are only 1/4 of the way through the year, but I feel like every time the Goodreads nominations happen for the year I've read maybe 1 or 2 books on the list. This year I'd really like to have an opinion about the nominations! Does anyone have any foresight for this kind of thing? What are some books coming out this year (or already out) that I need to be reading?
That's a great question. I end up reading a few in the romance, sci fi/fantasy and YA sections, but considering these books are rated so highly amongst GRers that I want try some more.
Non snarky question: I think there's always a cookbook category. How does one read a cookbook? I'm guessing the answer is the obvious, but I don't know that I've ever read a cookbook before. I just flip through until I see something I like!
Yeah I'm terrible at having read the books on the Goodreads yearly voting thing. Mainly because I just don't read they many new release books and also I've never heard of some of them. I just use the nominations as a good reference for potential books to add to my TBR list.

I'm chuckling because I had an aunt who would read cookbooks. Then again, she was a spectacular chef.
