Good morning. Just here. Not much. My H's bday is on Wednesday and we have nothing planned but dinner on Thursday with MIL. I feel like a crappy wife. Maybe I can swing a day trip to Chelan on Saturday. We shall see.
It's a happy Monday when you are off work enjoying a quiet house after sticking the in laws on a plane back to where they belong! I'm watching the Boston Marathon coverage. I should go knock out a few miles but in laws = drinking too much so it's a slow start this morning.

Good morning! Yesterday was a cluster with the Legislative Caucus, but I'm glad I went and didn't let the "other side" bully me into forgoing my vote.
Home life is a little hectic right now. H did something to his groin area (NOT MY FAULT, he was lifting all the Costco stuff we bought on Sat.), and we're hoping it's not a hernia. So he's working from home today. There is also some leaking in the shower, so the leasing office is sending someone over to check it out. And effing Comcast cut our HBO, even though we're still getting billed for it! They are damn lucky we didn't have to miss a GOT episode!
This weekend I walked and walked and walked. And had sex. And ate pineapple. No baby. No sign of baby at all. She's still so high. I want to have this baby! 80 degrees and 39 weeks pregnant is not a good combo.

This week end was so crazy. My shoulders are still sore from Friday's work out. 120 pull ups, 150 push ups, plus 180 sit ups and some heavy weights. So glad tomorrow is a rest day. Thankfully there wasn't much lower body involvement. The 12k yesterday was a little rough. I was feeling really good the first half but I should have taken some nuun at the half way point. I ran out of steam in mile five and walked a good chunk. I got some nuun at mile six and felt pretty good the last bit.
We watched The Big Short and Concussion this week end. Talk about two movies that make you lose faith in big corporations.
We stopped by fred myer to make a big breakfast after the race. Had a huge scramble, hash browns, and a cinnamon roll. I am enjoying an extra cinnamon roll now. So glad happy for second breakfast.
The in laws are headed to Hawaii today. I am so jealous. I just want to sleep. Their airport shuttle got upgraded to a limo and they get to fly first class. Man they are traveling in style today. They deserve it.

You poor thing! I remember those days. And then B came at 41 weeks.

Good morning! I had my blood drawn this morning (checking my thyroid and other stuff because I've been having some weird symptoms lately), and I feel pretty good this morning. I feel like I'm losing a bit of weight, my clothes are fitting better, and I think it's because I'm eating less sugar. I still have a little bit here and there, but for the most part, we're eating pretty healthily.
We took the kiddos out to the park yesterday and it was fun, but M just flipped her lid because we had to leave after playing for a whole hour. But she had a great nap!
Also, I got my hair cut on Friday and it's short! But cute short, not too short. I have my contacts in and my hair down today, so all of my coworkers are looking at me like I'm a new person, haha.
Had a pretty nice day yesterday. Played some video game, then made H come out and we laid on the lawn for several hours - him just getting some sun on his eczema which helps and I spent over 2 hours just sketching. Then we went and got some Uwajimaya for dinner and watched Mad Max Fury Road. Not looking forward to trying to sleep tonight though as I need it cool to sleep well. Oo, excited for lunch as there's an Indian Fry bread food truck over at SBUX today!
Sigh. I'm at the OB now. Not much cervical change from last week. Which I guess doesn't mean anything but it's still discouraging. OB said he thinks I'll go this week. I told him I think I'll see him at my regular 40 week appt. Shes not budging. Blerg.
I've been MIA from this board for SO LONG, but not much has changed. We started TTC for #2 this month, which I'm really excited about! C is as sassy as ever. What a little monster she is. But so cute.
The house saga is still just that. Hubs and I had a huge fight this weekend about whether he even wants to move (he doesn't) and frankly, I don't really either (I love our house) but the commute is killer with C in the car. Today, she screamed for about 30 out of our 45 minutes in the car because the sun was in her eyes. Such a Washington baby. (hot) We just lost out on a place we bid on, and frankly, we don't have the money to throw around for pre-inspections to make ourselves competitive. I think we may hold off until the market cools down in September to really start actively looking again (though I'll keep my eyes peeled if anything amazing comes along in the meantime).

I'm glad you were able to stand your ground, my friend went and she said people were crazy like threatening with violence crazy. I could not handle all of that.
I found a place where the siding kinda popped out on the house yesterday so I need to call the builder to have them tighten it back up.
I am coming to terms with the whole layoff situation, and I am going to try to avoid it. I would love to be able to stay at home with the baby, but I know financially that would be a mess for us. Also I think I might be able to work something out with my Mom watching him and us saving some daycare money. I am afraid my MIL will lose her mind though.
Lastly... since this is a novel. I need a prenatal massage. I was thinking of going to Olympus Spa in Lynnwood. Anyone else have recs for the north end?

Sorta north end but Oasis Spa and Salon in Woodinville - I have had massages there before (not prenatal) and EVERYONE has been good! I also get my hair done there.. I love them so much and cannot recommend any of their services enough.
I should also say I regained a little sanity yesterday hugely in part to kwpnjumper55 who let us have her crib. J is apparently very content in being a crib sleeper but I needed the crib for AJ who I needed out of my bed as he is a wild starfish sleeper now. But last night was our first go with her back in a crib but in a room with M as well and it went much better. They are still getting used to room sharing but with her in a crib and little man in his own crib, I slept in my bed alone (minus H) for the first time in over 9 months.... But I did miss the baby snuggles such a mess parenting is lol

Where are you looking/what is your price range? You can PM me if you don't want to tell the world.

InSpa in Mill Creek. I had a great pregnancy massage there.
toratoratori - praying for your commute with the viaduct closure coming up soon. 14 days of closure starting on 4/29.
- I grabbed the wrong drink at starbucks. Literally, had my name on it and looked like my drink. The level of embarrassment and shame is seriously unreal.

I don't mind telling the whole world ... I'm open to any help we can get!
Basically, anywhere in North Seattle / Shoreline, up to 160th. (I don't want to go farther north than that because I worry I'd just be trading for the same commute in the other direction.) Ideally, I'd like to be east of I-5, but I can be flexible on that depending on other variables.
Our price range is $400,000 - $450,000, which is where a lot of stuff is listed, but not where it typically ends up selling :\

omgggggggggggggggggg. How are YOU going to handle that commute?! At least I have 5 as an option up to the bridge ... are you going to go around and up 5?
Morning! I am never around anymore but it is great to see updates from everyone.
Heading to school shortly for a meeting then work 10's the rest of the week. I have the house cleaned already and all of my clothes for work and the gym ready to go. It was such a great weekend too. Friday the hubs and I went to the gym and happy hour then met up with some old friends for beers, Saturday I had a 6 mile walk with a friend and we ordered in, Sunday we walked 6 miles, had lunch, enjoyed Columbia City, read, and grilled out. Just a perfect relaxing weekend.
We started ordering stuff to redecorate our upstairs. We got new bedding for both beds and picked out a ceiling fan. We will hopefully paint in the next few weeks and have those rooms done. I can't wait! I'm also hoping that getting blackout curtains will help keep the heat out. Our bedroom is on the 3rd floor and summer is rough.
Anyone have blackout curtains they love? I can't do blinds because of the AC.

I'm going to see if my MIL or one of my SILs will come take MiMi to daycare for me, so I can leave early enough to park at the Tukwila linkrail station and ride up.
Driving routes sounded miserable. Maybe WFH, but IDK if it's gonna fly.

This stupid closure is going to be such a mess. I had planned on some WFH days to avoid some commutes but that won't fly with a new job right off the bat. I'm dreading it so much.
