Aw. That is so awesome. We had the same kind of thing happen when when we got married. Long story short, by absolute weird chance after switching parishes last minute, the priest who married us was my moms neighbor growing up and my mom babysat him. His dad was an OB and delivered me, too. The priest was the date of my aunt to my parents wedding reception and was the alter server at the church service

Our moms for sure found a way to tell them they were with us on important days! So happy you got to experience that!
