My theory is that married men approach anyone because they don't care if they get rejected. They have a wife at home.
Single guys are more careful. If they really like you, they might be too scared to fuck it up and end up not doing anything.
I am pretty sure a lot of single guys want to ask you out but they are afraid they might be rejected for some reason and lose any chance they had.

Yup, I've definitely gotten the "So?" in response to telling single dudes I'm married. My response is usually "So...fuck off." Lol.
