So, he wrote me back last night, basically saying he's pretty much been living at the office the past few days and really isn't going to have much of a weekend, but he'll let me know. He hoped I had a great da y, bla bla bla. I wrote him back this morning, since I didn't see the text until lpretty late.
So...we'll see. I *think* this upcoming week is the deadline for a huge project (my company did a similar one, so I know how crazy the last minute deadline stuff is) but not getting my hopes up. If he wants to see me again, he'll find time. At least I heard back. I just hope he has enough maturity to say if he doesn't in fact want to keep seeing each other rather than just letting it just fade away.
Well hopefully the return text was a good sign for either ( he does want to meet up or that he would be man enough to let u know if he wasn't interested) so that you dont have to be in "limbo" so to speak. Altho I hope you wouldnt be holding urself in limbo.
I think we all handle work stress differently. I'm not saying to give him a free pass, or to get your hopes up, but it sounds like he might have a legit reason here. See how he is after the project is over and gauge from there.

I agree with this.
I'm happy to hear that he contacted you, and apologized though!
