We are right in.line with all the bad storms/tornados that are suppose to hit today.
Predicted up to softball sized hail. Hoping it misses us because I don't have a covered place for my car.
G is napping but when she gets up I need to get a bag packed just in case. Next door neighbor has a storm shelter we can get into and my cousin lives behind us and she had a full basement with safe room. At.least we have places close by to.go to just in case.
I hope you don't get that big of hail bk1! I'm glad you have a plan in place.
Yesterday we went to get my glasses only to discover that they weren't ready. They told us it would be a 1/2 hr wait and DH decided we should stay. Then they told us I wouldn't be getting them at all and that I needed to pick different frames since they couldn't cut the lenses for the frames I liked to match my face.
Today I implemented my make supper for lunch plan (to compensate for working evenings). I very much enjoyed it but I wish DH could have been home to eat with me. It's weird cooking something fancy-ish just for myself now.

amaranth Not yet, we looked at 2 places on Sunday but wrote both off for various reasons. Working on setting up more appts for Sat. Properties are going fast so it's hard to get a visit in, but I am sure we will find something. I'm anxious to just have this all over with though.
@opal - That's really annoying that they didn't consider how your lenses would fit when they had you choose your frames. When I order my glasses, they always warn me about the types of frames to avoid.
katespade: The optical assistant who took my measurements must not have noticed. Lucky for them I bought off a one price sales rack so the frames were basically interchangeable. It'll probably be a different optometrist in a new city when we need new glasses again so I'll have to keep my "closed-set eyes" in mind next time we go, lol.
