And have everything turn out ok? Actual bleeding, not spotting. I went yesterday to get checked out after waking up to some bleeding. Everything looked fine on the US, heart rate was strong and consistent. She just told me not to have sex for a week. It's been mostly residual stuff since yesterday AM, but just now started up again. I'm 12w 3d.
Yes, with DS I had bright red bleeding at 11w. Many women experience bleeding and/or spotting. I'm glad the baby looked good - hopefully you won't have any more bleeding.
ETA - definitely call your OB if you are concerned.

Thank you.. They didn't seem concerned since everything else looked fine, so I'm trying not to freak out and am just attempting to take it easy.
I had it in the second trimester. I know that's not the same but I wanted to share my story. I'm hoping this might help you. I had a subchronic hematoma they located around the time of my anatomy scan. I spotted for about three weeks. I now have a happy and healthy four-month-old baby girl. They had to monitor me frequently. I got a couple more ultrasounds out of the deal.
I had it with DD2 at 14 weeks but it was the first symptom of a complication and I'm a bit paranoid that it's happening again. Thank you, everyone, for the happy ending stories.

I had it with three pregnancies. Took progesterone when it started with the 2nd, which made it stop. When I bled during the 3rd, the ultrasound showed a subchronic hemorrhage...it stopped within a week, but I was told it could reappear (but it didn't)!
Did you get an internal exam? I had bright red bleeding and clumps and ultrasound was ok but with an internal exam they found it was my cervix. The doctor had to cauterize it in order to stop the bleeding.

I'm 10W6D now. At 9W2D I woke up with a substantial amount of red blood. Doctor said it's a subchorionic hematoma and gave me 1 week of bed rest. Now I'm just on pelvic rest waiting for the whole thing to clear up. Hugs! Blood in pregnancy is stressful!
Yes, I had it at 13 weeks just before and after my CVS, which sucked because then I didn't know if it was the 'regular' bleeding, or bleeding from the CVS.
Yes quite a bit. Turned out I had placenta previa and a sensitive cervix that both caused bleeding. I ended up buying a home Doppler for my own piece of mind. Baby is now 6 and totally healthy.

Yes with DS1, I had major bleeding starting at five weeks through first tri. It was a sub chronic hemoglobin but a ton of blood. It would stop and start for weeks and I thought I lost him several times. He's now three.

FX that all is ok.
No. The nurse set me up for one but then my Dr didn't end up doing it. I just assumed maybe she didn't want to make it worse?
