That's exciting! Back in the day I was super excited when they made it a computer game. It's the one, and only, computer game I have ever owned LOL
I'm still sad to this day that Robert Jordan didn't get to finish the series himself, though Brandon Sanderson did an amazing job copying his style and working off his notes.

I think Sanderson did a better job than Jordan did in some of his later books! But that may not be fair because he had the opportunity to start tying things up instead of trying to follow a million different story lines at once.
Since I also liked Sanderson's completion of WoT better than any of his own books that I have read, I'm thinking the collaboration was good for both of them.
I couldn't figure out why the pictures were all messed up until I realized it was a mobile link and I'm on my computer. For others who are slow like me here is the non-mobile link:
As to the main point, though, this could be quite interesting! I'm curious to see how Hollywood handles all of the strong female characters. That, and the 14,000+ page length.
I've only read one Sanderson book so far, The Way of Kings. I enjoyed it, but it was so long I have put off reading the next novel in that series. Haven't read mistborn or anything else yet. So many books, so little time!
