Slept in, had breakfast, showers, cleaned up, went shopping, went to brunch, errands, run, cleaned the laundry room, showered again and am now waiting for my pizzas to cook. Â On to eating and drinking wine. Â
Where does the sweet love making come in?
Tonight baby, tonight.
That's what happens when you have three kids. You have to wait for them to fall asleep.

Woke up around 9 Did laundry Watched several episodes of Fixer Upper Went to World Market for a fistful of Coffee Crisps Vacuumed More Fixer Upper Video Games Many dog walks in between all these things.
Up at 630. DS is really feeling like a two year old lately and thus many tantrums were thrown. Went to Starbucks and then the park so murder didn't happen. Came home for a nap. Sat on my ass during nap time. Went shopping for birthday and baby shower supplies. Fed child dinner and let him run around outside some more. Shower and then bedtime for the kid.
I am now planning on drinking a beer and finishing up a load of laundry.
Took DS 1 to swimming lessons, went out to breakfast with the family and ate delicious pancakes, talked to H on Skype, napped, let my parents make dinner while I watched parts of two different Avengers movies just because I could, ate dinner, went to the mall with my mom to pick out a belated birthday present, came home just in time to give the kids bedtime snuggles, and am now playing online while finishing one of my movies.
Slept in a little, breakfast, took DD to swim class while DH did t-ball with DS. Met back up with friends at Mount Vernon's Revolutionary War weekend. Late lunch, DH went in to work for a few hours while DS napped; I changed everyone's sheets, caught up on some GS stuff and made a grocery list. DH got home, dinner and baths for the kids, then my mom came over to baby sit and we went out to dinner. Caught up on the DVR a bit when we got home and now we're in bed.

Woke up later than usual (because my youngest slept until 9:30!) Went to the craft store for some supplies. Drove to boyfriend's house. Hung out with the kids while he put new brake pads on my car. Went out for pizza with boyfriend, the kids, and his parents. And now back home.
Reading all these posts reminds me how much I miss my more "normal", nothing out of the ordinary but totally fun, married person life.

I know it's not the same and there is a big loss for you mixed into all of this, buuuut you sound like tou had a pretty blissful and boring day too! Crafts, pizza, car repair! I'm glad to hear that your days are full and (seem to be mostly) happy these days!
Got a lot of cleaning done. I usually vacuum when ds is asleep so he isn't underfoot with a bunch of toys, but since we have a lot to do, I did it while he was awake, and he was cracking me up.. partly afraid, partly wanting to do it, partly just wanting to yell "WOOOOOOOOOOO" at it, haha.
Other than that, I fell asleep for about 20min while ds napped.. then played with his toys and outside until he was ready to go down for the night.
Now trying to find out if the gymnastics place is open for free play tomorrow. Their website is the pits. They have their logo covering tomorrow, which suggeeeests no, but that would mean 3 weeks of no class, which I've never seen them do...

You are so right. It was a boring normal day. Sometimes it's just hard to see past how much I miss the person who isn't here. It's not the way it was *supposed* to be. But, as boyfriend and I like to say, it will never be the same, but it can still be really great. Thank you for reminding me!

I bet that is a really challenging thing to deal with, but you're doing it with grace. I like the saying, too.
Woke up early, had breakfast, fed pets, went back to sleep. Dragged myself up, did a few loads of laundry, waited to meet with a doula (never showed) and a pet sitter at my place, sat on the couch, had lunch, snuggled with the pets and then once a party started above me or the stirrings of one, went to a friend's nearby to watch a movie with her. Came home to no party, phew! Getting out was epic since I've been on bed rest and I'm sooo bored.
I'm scared that the party is continuing tomorrow since they have new party decor on the front of their door with a new theme (different from today's). These are rager parties, ugh. I need to get through my pile of paperwork tomorrow so I'm hoping for the best but need a plan B to do it elsewhere if my walls are shaking.
Slept allllll day. Until 5pm. I have an excuse though, Pneumonia and another new case of oral thrush. Finally got up and cleaned the house. Sat around and now back in bed.
Took what seemed like a squadron of 10 year old girls (plus a friend and a little brother) roller skating with what seemed like an entire army of the little buggers. Squealy little girls dressed in 50s gear every.where.
