MIL got to my house at 5:35am. So she took MiMi to daycare early. I got to the Linkrail station, and had to park in the overflow lot. I couldn't believe it. It took me about an hour to get to work total, including the 1 mile walk to my office. Which is about 15 min longer than my regular commute. However, it wasn't stressful, no traffic, and I snapchatted my entire journey. Probably will actually read my book on the way home tonight. I'm actually going to considering this route for after Alaskan Way Viaduct opens up again (hopefully), then the park and ride won't be as bad.
We don't have much going on at home today. However, I'm thankful that my dad has officially finished hooking up our heat pump and AC unit. I don't need it. But H is pretty miserable in the heat.
So did anyone else watch the live coverage of the MayDay protest last night? I wonder how many people called ubers from the Costco lot.

Morning! I wasn't too impacted today by the viaduct closure - thankfully. I'm not carpooling this week, so I got into the office quite early this morning. It's nice to get a jump on the day.
I'm dealing with soccer drama with DD. I'll spare you all the boring details, but it kind of all stems from our "friends" being so secretive and not being open/honest about their plans for fall soccer for their DD.
I'm looking forward to the nice weather most of the week - we'll probably have to use our A/C at night in our room. They finished building the house behind us and the family moved in...they are SO loud at night with their windows open. Some people are so unaware.

I'm in Olympia for a 4 hour training which I know is going to be Uber boring. At least I have the rest of the day off!
I plan on spending time up at the horses today, Dusty isn't doing great again so I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with him. I just wish he would go back to being the fat little pony I know.
Not much going on this week, Thursday is my Birthday so we are going to DTF with the family.
Good morning! I stayed far away from Downtown yesterday, but the streets look peaceful this morning. I'm kinda happy to be "North of the Wall" with this viaduct business, so far there haven't been any traffic woes.
Service was nice on Saturday, I'd guess maybe 20-23 people there. I estimated the food from Costco pretty spot on so we had enough for everyone to have their fill and just a little left over. i ended up with a low-migraine, the damn lilies were too potent. Bad allergies all weekend made me either sleepy, sleeping, or just staring blankly at stuff in zombie-brain mode. took an Allegra this morning, hope it helps. Fingers crossed!
Sunday we went to Tilth and got most of the plants we wanted and then had a long lunch (very slooow) at Tangletown Elysian. Went home for nap then weeded the second veggie bed so it will be ready to plant after the babies harden off.
Man this week is going to be long. H has a 4day week but we have so much to get done each day after work that i'm just tried thinking of it. I went to the mall after M's swim today and managed to buy 2 pairs of pants and thats after trying them on with all the kids hanging off me. I also bought a size smaller than my usual. I have only bought that size once in my life and I was in highs school at the time. Talk about pep in my step. I'm sure the pants just run big but I don't care
I'm not excited about the heat today so i'm going to hole up in the house instead of working in the yard in it. I did that yesterday and I now have one garden bed cleaned and then about 1/4 of the second one done. I'm hoping to plant seeds next week depending on weather.
sotally tober, neighbors like that annoy me. We have someone behind us with like 7 yappy dogs I finally yelled STFU out the window yesterday at them. The owners came and took them inside. I didn't even care that I was rude. To be fair it had been like 40 minutes of this.
We went to the kangaroo farm and held the baby, petted the roos and wallaby's. Also saw/fed their other farm animals. Easily the best $10 I have spent on an animal encounter where you can actually touch the animals.
Picks! I did have my massage it was amazing I am going to get another one here soon!! I just wish it was longer haha
Just had the 5yr old clean the bathroom floor. Its not great but its good enough that i'm going to leave it and possibly let her do it again I need to put aside some more chores for her to do during nap time

Well, my day took an interesting turn. I'm WFH as DD called and is not feeling well. She clearly doesn't want to be sleeping/resting, but I'm making her.
Also, I'm pretty upset about some work stuff going on. I applied for a different role and they have treated me pretty crappy through the whole thing. It's really upsetting and has me definitely looking elsewhere.

H and I were laughing this weekend we were talking about what is exciting to be parents. I said so they can do chores right when he did.
Congrats it is a big step into less house chores? Maybe?

Its definitely exciting for me lol. I'll be even more excited when I can get rid of some of the yard work chores
