When I see that you've written a race report, I immediately want to curl up with a blanket and a cup of coffee as if I'm curling up with my favorite book.
Seriously, I'm super impressed. That is such an incredible pr. I've been less active on the board this year, and so while I knew you were looking at some awesome and big things ahead, I missed a lot of the impressive work you were putting in, and I wish I had have been more attentive because it is really impressive and inspiring. Congratulations!
You are so sweet! Thank you! And you've been such a big inspiration to me as well. I don't think I'd ever consider doing an IM of it weren't for your badassery
Oh my - far too kind. You are well on your way! I have complete confidence!
SO, SO, SO excited for you!! Great recap and an amazing race!!!!! It doesn't seem like it was all that long ago you were firing that asshat. You've made amazing progress these past couple months!

Loved all of this so much! I have spent the last few months watching you as you trained and thought, "Damn, she's going to blow it out of the water." Your strength and determination led to an amazing finish. I didn't think it could happen, but I am even more inspired by you than I have been up until now. Congrats!
You are an amazing athlete and that is one hell of a PR. You had me tearing up from the first paragraph and wanting the ring the neck of that so called "dietician." Thank you for sharing your journey and being sub an inspiration for all of us here. You earned every minute of that PR. I hope you wrote that new time on your wall in a fit of glee.
Thank you so much. Seeing how much progress you have made since you started posting here is what keeps me going on the days I don't think I can do it. And that goes for everyone here. This board is something amazing.
I haven't done anything to the wall yet, that will be tomorrow's project since I have to write my new schedule for May up as well, and rearrange some bibs and PR medals too
What an amazing recap and awesome PR. I'm new to running but what an inspiration. Thank you! You worked your ass off for that victory! Congratulations.

Wow wow wow!!!! Best marathon recap ever. I'm all verklempt. Congratulations on being the biggest badass ever and conquering the marathon!! I'm so in awe of everything you have accomplished right now, I cannot tell you... truly inspirational. This should be pinned to the top of the board or something.
First thought, fuck that dietician. Second thought, beautiful recap! Absolutely beautiful! You had me laughing at the bag of dicks and smiling huge at your realization that you are an athlete! Thank you for posting this. You are such an amazing inspiration.
You actually thought you could slink away from this board and not be missed? THIS BOARD? Oh hell no. That would never happen. Ever. Congratulations, you have done an amazing job!
Love this recap. Besides making me rage (at the dietician, who should have her certification pulled, what an asshat), tear up and cheer, your honesty about your journey inspires me to continue on towards my own goals. So happy to see your hard work and determination pay off, so many congrats on a huge, kickass, PR!!
Congrats on such an amazing PR and the weight loss. You did all the hard work in losing the weight, but the exact number of 26.2 seems like some kind of message.

Dammit @drcupcake, why did you have to go and make me tear all up while I'm riding in a car full of work people?? What an amazing journey. You seriously inspire me. I'm in the same place you were right now.
BTW, what kind of dietary changes did you make? You look fabulous in your FB pictures.
I've been waiting for this. And it did not disappoint!
You are a true inspiration. The way you overcame all the negative energy from that crap dietician and conquered this training cycle was fucking amazing. Congrats!!! Soak it up. You earned this PR!!
All the happy tears for you @vtcupcake. Seriously. This marathon is so huge for you and represents a lot. So much hard work, confidence building, progress, and rockstar new PR.
Funny thing is, when I read "stop pretending to be an athlete" I initially thought she was telling you to stop pretending and just go for it. To know you ARE an athlete. I'm horrified that she really meant to discourage you so much, but obviously that has not and will not define you.
Congrats on the race, the training, the weight loss and your awesome journey.
