blane12, that looks amazing!! When my H and our neighbour put together our fort/swings it took 4 weekends and a LOT of beer...
thedahliharpa, what does your H say about this? I know it's HIS mother and all, but does he acknowledge that she's nuts?
I guess they got into it tonight when he stopped over there. He's more on his own side than mine and since I'm involved, as a bystander!, it stresses him out I have to deal with his mood about it.
Thanks @starbound! We've only been able to do an hour here and an hour there, so it's taken awhile. We have to put the roof on and attach everything yet. The boys are so excited!!
carawestt I'm so glad it's out! How did it come out, did he sneeze it out? I was just wondering about you guys this morning. I even mentioned it to my H. LOL.
We had to get it removed by an ENT. She used a little hook tool and was able to pull it to the front of his nostril. He was such a trooper! It was a pretty big piece too. He asked if he could keep it and show it to my H. So it's now on his dresser in a specimen cup lol.
Oh thank goodness! I thought of you guys today when I had to remove a pea from the mouth of one of D's dolls.

It was luckily really quick and relatively easy! She said she had two tries to do it and then we'd have to sedate him but he did awesome. He started squirming and complaining that it hurt right at the end but she was able to get it out right before he pushed her away.

I've been backing up my laptop and installing Windows 10. It's taking forever. I also found 2 key logging malware things on it. It's like watching paint dry. I hope it runs a little better after all this waiting.
IL issues can be such sticky things to talk about thedahliharpa. Here DH often makes comments about his parents' excessive spending and lack of retirement plan even though MIL plans to retire in Dec. But I can't say the same things without him getting defensive. They're not crazy and we generally have a good relationship, but it's still touchy.

I wish once FIL retires they would move to FL like normal annoying old people. But they will never leave. Mil is probably an alien who will outlive me.
Things are going to be sticky at D's dance recital next month. Both my sets of parents will be there and they can't stand her. She tries to talk to them like they are friends and they try to avoid her as much as possible.

Lol at her being an alien.
Is there assigned seating? Tell MIL the wrong time so there are no nearby seats available when she shows up?
I finally decided that I wanted to try spaghetti squash and I CAN'T FIND IT anywhere. WTF? Is it a northern/west coast thing? Obviously small, southern town USA can't have the fancy vegetables. Lol. It's not even fancy is it?
I am sending my H out to find quinoa later too. I expect people to look at him like he has 3 heads if he has to ask where it is.
You ladies are broadening my food horizons
Last time I saw it was in the wintertime here, maybe it's just only seasonally available? Then again I haven't been looking. Whenever I buy one I forget to use it! I really should buy one bc cooking it is now super easy w the instapot.

Those that went to Daniel tiger live- was it worth it? I heard it was bad
It's the first kids musical we've went to, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but B loved it. He was pointing and all excited at everything. Surprisingly, our local small threate put it on, and tickets only ranged from $15-$25/seat, so it wasn't a huge investment for us. It was a fun 'date' for me and B and he was asking for the trolley for days after.
Paging TrudyCampbell - I know she took her girls too

Yes, it was amazing! So many familiar songs to sing along to, and Violet was enthralled! I absolutely loved it. It's not like broadway musical quality, but the tickets prices seemed right for what you got. If your kids are DT fans, you should definitely go!
