I need to stock up on some water bottles for the girls, as their new school requires a fresh one every day. (Current school will wash them and keep them for the week.)
Here's what I'm considering for Violet. Any experience? Also, any suggestions for the baby? Zoli's leak like crazy and Lolla's are just big for daycare. I ordered some Nuk Learner Sippies for now.
Thermos Foogo 10 oz or Thermos Funtainer? These seem similar... we have 1 Foogo, but I think I lost the straw.
Avex Kids - Never heard of this brand. Anyone have personal experience?
Nalgene Kids - we love Nalgene, but this might get sweaty and the water get warm in the summer outside. Anyone use this one?
steph196 and mouserat, I looked at the contigo ones and thought they looked great. But it said you have to push the button while you drink. Is that right? I don't think V is that coordinated, lol.

You do. It really isn't that hard to push the button. S has been doing it for at least a year and a half.
carawestt, we have a couple of those too! But V said the straw doesn't work. Like, she's sucking on it and the water isn't coming out. Maybe I should inspect it further.

W says the same thing. I keep meaning to try it myself and just forget.

Whenever we have this problem it's usually because the straw usually comes out of the connector at the top just a little. You gotta shove it up there real good! Lol

We had a Nalgene and the top broke somehow and it wouldn't stay closed so it was pretty much useless. We didn't even have it for that long. Now we have some dollar store water bottle with a pop top and it has lasted way longer than the nalgene lol.
teamhayes, if I'm deciphering correctly, you like the Nalgene and Contigo? I think I'm going to get a few funtainers and some of the Nalgenes I posted above. I guess it's good to have a bunch and I want to toss some of our older ones too.

They have a lot of design choices for the funtainers at target. I pick one up every time we are there because $15 doesn't seem as bad when I get one at a time.
FYI- if you're leaving it at school for someone else to wash, skip the straw entirely. You don't want to know why. We opted for contigo at school for this reason. We use camel backs and lollas at home. :/

Ewwww this skeeves me! At the new school, it's a fresh cup everyday. They won't wash them for us. I guess that's a good thing!
We use the Nalgene ones. G has the top that opens and snaps closed. X has the sippy top. Both have gotten nearly a year of use and have held up well. When these break we'll buy more.
