Are they super physical? Not like beat each other up, just constantly running, jumping, etc. mine are almost 4 and almost 2 and they are in constant motion and always wanting to be climbing and jumping off everything. I feel like I am constantly yelling to stop and calm down and you are going to get hurt. Do I need to just get over it and accept that this is how boys are?? I was raised with girls so I'm clueless.

Pretty much. It's exhausting. I think he gets it from DC because there are a few other boys within a few days of him and they all kinda wrestle together. He can be rough sometimes so we've been trying to work on being nice, especially with the cats.

Ds is nuts, so much energy! He is always running, climbing, wrestling with H. It will be interesting once ds2 is here and is old enough to play with him. I fear for my house!
DS1 is 3 and no, he's a lover. He just wants to chill. DS2 is 11 months and maybe? He's more mobile than DS1 was at this age but the verdict is still out.
this. (he's currently watching TV while doing a headstand. No, a cartwheel. Another headstand. etc....)
Trying to sit and watch tv with him is the worst. He'll be sitting here, now climbing over to there, now standing up on the couch, now jumping on the couch, now hanging off sideways, now climbing the arm....

C is 17 months and constantly moving. He never really even sat still when he was a baby and very rarely slows down to cuddle or chill. Lately it's all about climbing and getting into everything. He is also very rough and going through a pinching, hitting, and biting phase. Trying to teach him to be gentle but he just doesn't seem to get it yet. He's also very loud.
DS1's nickname from my Grandpa was NeverStops. He just never.stops. Thankfully, he's not really a climber or jumper (he's super cautious), but he is just always moving. DS2 is the same way.
I tell people if they're bothered by constant movement or noise, they probably should just not come to our house.
I've grown to love it. One day, my house will be quiet again...
Yes. We were with a 12 month old boy and 2 toddler girls at the zoo this weekend and I was shocked that all 3 would walk with mom, sit in the stroller happily or be in the carrier happily. My boys are either asleep or running. They do love snuggles, but in 1-2 min increments.
