It was ok. Went over budget overall Friday - $33 for gas, $175 for groceries. That is $10 under budget for gas and $25 over budget for groceries. Saturday - $5 for breakfast, $10 for drinks at the renaissance faire for me and my brother, $10 for food for me and my brother (my way of paying for gas since we carpooled), $5 for rickshaw ride at faire, and $60 for souvenirs for me and DS. I had sent aside $70 for all of this, so $20 over budget overall. Sunday, Monday - No money spent

Mine was a mess. I indulged in some retail therapy to try to get my mind off the pain. I didn't need any of it. However I got crazy deals because of all the sales. I got 2 dresses, 3 shirts, a cardigan, a skirt and a wallet for myself and a shirt, pants, and an e reader case for my mom for her birthday for $100. Then I dropped another $120 at my running supply store. They have Maia moving comfort sports bras in.my size for under $50 each. Those things have been a godsend because the compression seems to reduce the pain. I also got some socks, body glide and other supplies.
That's not including groceries and cleaning supplies, or dinner out on Sunday. I still need to have my violin repaired, too.
Yeah, great deals but spending I didn't need, so financial fail.

I also indulged a lil but most were necessities for DD. I had extra money in my paycheck so we went out to lunch and did some back to school shopping and i did get great deals and shes pretty much done. I managed not to buy myself anything but did treat myself to a much needed pedicure...I had $5 off coupon so it was only 20 bucks and my feet are thankful. I wont spend much this week other than gas and a lil for food. Although now the dog needs to go to the vet so thatll pinch a bit...overall though I didnt do too bad.

I did pretty well this weekend. G treated me to dinner Friday, so I bought Saturday breakfast ($30...I was shocked at that for breakfast, but it was gooooood). Then we went to his cottage for a bit and to the county fair there ($14 admission). Spent $10 on snacks and such, then he treated me to dinner again! Sunday and Monday didn't spend any money, and I'm going to a free yoga class tonight.
I am about to do a little online shopping, but it's for toiletries, etc. so I should be able to stay on budget there.

I spent $5 on a pack of cigarettes and $15 in gas. I didn't spend a dime otherwise I've got $10 until my paycheck on Friday and I need that for my Prozac Rx today. I'll make it happen.

Right now I am just trying to get a hold of what I am spending where by writing it all down and trying to follow a budget for the month of September. I definitely am spending a lot of money in some areas that I'd like to try to cut back on, especially groceries and I am spending a fortune on gas lately. Not sure if there is any way to cut back on that!

Oh! Forgot one thing I bought, which was also a win...I'm almost out of perfume, so when we were headed back home from his cottage in Canada, I stopped at the Amex and looked at the perfume...it was $20 less than here in the US! I was pretty jazzed!
