I got a KA mixer for my 18th birthday and I love it! My husband just got a Keurig for his birthday. I don't drink coffee and he was sick of wasting entire pots of coffee for his one cup. He roasts his own beans so he just bought the insert for that instead of k cups.

Of those 3 we only have the simple human trash can. I love it. We've had it 3 years & no problems. With our kitchen layout the trash can has to be out in the open, I love the look of the SS SH.

I don't have room for a stand mixer so I just use my hand mixer.

We needed a trash can with a foot pedal because our dog figured out how to push the lit-button and get inside.

The kitchen aid is awesome and was a Christmas present.

I have owned a KA for about 8yrs. We've had SH trash cans in the past but have tossed them. I do not own the Kuerig because we drink way too much coffee for a 1 cup maker.

I accidentally have a Keurig-type coffee maker. It came with the furnished apartment I am renting right now. I actually went out and bought a French press to use instead. Individual coffee pods are NOT MM.

I love my KA and have had it since my single days in college. The simple human trash can we have is a sliding in-cabinet one that I use in my sewing room now because it doesn't fit under the kitchen sink anymore. I had a big metal one, but the dog it was bought to keep out just knocked it over instead of opening the lid.

i bake a lot, but do just fine without a stand mixer. we send out one grocery bag of garbage a week so we have a small can tucked under the sink. the keurig, while very loved by h, isn't necessary since he has one at work.

i have limited counter space. only the microwave gets squatting privileges.
