Holiday Decorations... when do they go up??

we have a Disney cruise booked for 11/4/17- so 18 months from now. we'll probably fly in the day before we leave, so i'm just wondering if we'll get to see any of the christmas decorations at the resorts or whatever that day?? Christmas is the only time of year i've never been to Disney so i would love to be able to see some of them!! when do they usually start putting them up?

MK will be decorated by the second week of November, in time for the first holiday party, but I'm not sure about the other parks and resorts. You may be a little early.

Not until right before thanksgiving everywhere other then MK usually

I was down this past fall during the first week of November. Our first day there was the last day of the "Mickey's Not so Spooky Halloween" and by the end of the week, it was Christmas EVERYWHERE! They had the carolers on Main St at MK and over at Hollywood Studios they were running an unadvertised sneak peak at of The Osbourne Family's light! We weren't expecting to see it, but we were so happy we did! We were supposed to go to Fantasmic that night, and blew it off for the Dancing Lights. Per the cast, they start the lights earlier last year since it was their final year.
