I would just keep my eyes out for bleeding, and go to the ER if it is moderate - severe. Does he think it can resolve itself? I was unsure if it will or if it just attaches itself in a way that covers part of the cervix.
The only other thing I heard was you'll probably have to have a c-section if it is still covering the cervix later on in pregnancy. My doctor thought I had this because of bleeding after intercourse, but I did not so I only did some cursory internet research.
How far along are you? I've had a complete previa with both pregnancies and they both moved. The first was around 32 weeks and the second was earlier- maybe 24-26 weeks? It can cause bleeding (I've had bleeding with both pregnancies) which can be alarming. I was on pelvic rest until it resolved. They almost always move before delivery and my dr was optimistic both times.
Only 9w so still early. Hopefully it moves soon! Thanks
With my first pregnancy I had it at my 20 week ultrasound. I never had any bleeding so they didn't give me any restrictions. I had another ultrasound at 34 weeks to check it again and the placenta had moved out of the way so I never had any issues.
