I have been taking diclegis for almost 2 weeks. It helped in the beginning but lately it feels like it is doing nothing. I am taking 2 pills a day, I have tried 3 but no difference.
Any other tips? What about Emetrol? Anything else???
Nothing totally cured it for me. I'm still on Unisom/b6 (diy diclegis) 3x a day at 14.5 weeks...it takes the edge off but was not a miracle cure. I also tried Zofran but it did nothing for me. It sucks a lot, I'm sorry. I do generally feel better if I can remember to eat frequently but that has been difficult for me until recently...it's only been the last few days that my appetite has really kicked in.
Pray for 2nd tri – sorry I know it’s not the answer you were looking for, but honestly NOTHING helped me. I was horribly, violently sick from 7wks – 14wks. Just miserable – I tried the DIY dilegis, Zofran a few times, lemon water, lemon slushies, plain bagels, and anything else I could find. There were many, many tears, but I just kept telling myself that it wouldn’t last forever (and thankfully it didn’t). Hang in there!

I'm sorry. I was so sick from week 5-14. No meds really helped, and the sick effects of Dilegis was worse than the small amount of relief it provided. I found eating crackers constantly helped, as did some ginger chews I found at a health food store. Other than that I just prayed second tri would come quickly.

It is not a cure-all, just meant to take the edge off (specifically the vomiting), for some it works wonders, others not so much. If you are still feeling crappy, talk to your doc, could be hypermis if you are unable to keep anything down. That being said, sour hard candy (lemon, citrus) helped a bit, as did keeping small amounts in my stomach at all times!
For me, none of the meds worked with my constant nausea. What did work was hydration and small mini-meals through out the day. I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to eat a mini-meal and drink a full water bottle every 3 hours. The mini meals were protein plus carb such as an egg and cheese wrap from Dunkin Donuts, Greek yogurt topped with granola, hummus with cucumbers and pita chips, peanut butter on apple slices. I stopped eating regular meals. I had to be consistent with it and it was a PITA; but it worked when nothing else did.

Thanks. Some days eating does help me a LOT...other days I have a hard time eating and nothing helps.
Today has been my best day in a long time so I am happy with that!

Constant eating was the only thing that helped me. I did do diclegis 3x per day, but it just made me feel less bad, not good. Sorry you are dealing with this.
Sea bands really helped me last time. I used to fly weekly around the country for my job and this was the only thing that helped on airplanes. I still got sick on many airplanes but it did take the edge off.

Sea bands will help plus sour candy.
You are supposed to take 2 Diclegis at bedtime, 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM. Most people need 4 tablets to control their daily symptoms---it doesn't just happen in the AM.
