Fuck that noise, your commission should have stayed the same, percentage wise. Why would the percentage change based on hours worked? If you started working 60 hours a week would your percentage have increased by 50%, no!
You don't have to answer this...just food for thought... How much of your take home is your commission? If it's 90%, I probably wouldn't push the issue. I'd look for another job immediately. If it's a small percentage of take home or you'd be able to afford your bills without it, I'd push the issue. Either way I think this is going to end with you needing to find another job.
Is anything in writing for your commission? If it was never written to lower it then I would make noise. Regardless, I'd put some feelers out for a new job.
Does your life still work financially if you quit? If so, I agree with your sister. I think you have to draw the line at being taken advantage of in this way and honestly, your commission should have been increased some time ago, just as she should have been instructed to train you on the components of the role you don't know. This is straw on the camel's back time. I understand what you mean about your office life (as I know very well what it's like to work with a psychotic, neurotic, passive-aggressive weirdo), but you can't allow your relationship with her or her mood swings dictate whether you will advocate for yourself. Ultimately, there will always be something to set her off anyway and eventually it will pass, but your compensation is the reason you're there four days a week. That is what's important here. The rest is just background noise.
