Okay, so really one of them is 20 and one of them is 18 and the small one is 13 so they're older children.
They came with their parents to stay with us on Friday night and they were just the most brilliantly behaved boys ever. They had come off of an 8 hour car ride with the three of them in the backseat and there was no bickering, bitching, and they all snapped to getting the luggage out of the car so I could hop in with the dad to help him find a parking spot.
They all got along amazingly, like, they argued but it was all civilized. The big boys looked after the little boys. They ate everything. NO ONE had their face in an electronic device and barely the television (except for the soccer match they put on Saturday morning). They engaged with the adults and actually sought out conversation with us. They'd been with their parents travelling for two weeks with multiple destinations and then we stayed up late Friday and ran their asses around all Saturday morning and NO ONE COMPLAINED EVER.
They were interesting, polite, good looking, lovely boys. It gave me hope for the future, lol. I will have to ask the mum what her secret is.

And they are definitely not helicopter parents, they let the boys go to Glastonbury at 16 (to camp) and the 18 year old had been to Amsterdam with just friends that summer.
That's nice to hear! So many young adults and teens can be asshats, so it's good to hear of a positive experience. Especially after a tight travelling situation.

Huh. Are they from the UK?
I think it's great they were so well behaved and polite. I DRILL please and thank you into my kids, I hope it pays off.

Yes, the dad is from Wales and they spent quite a few years in Australia, but they have lived in Ealing for some time now.
